"I'm Jonty Newbery, the landlord of the Duke of YorkPub in Salisbury. I have been manic depression since the age of 27. I have ananxiety disorder. I do a lot of worrying and I overthink massively. Hopefullythis will help somebody in a similar situation to me."
The podcast started off so that we'd be able to helppeople reframe their story, because the story when we're overthinking or whenwe're having negative thoughts are usually the stories we don't want to beplaying in our mind. By reframing our language we’re playing the stories we dowant. I had a lot of, I can cope a, a lot of, I can cope. We call stress ‘I cancope’ because you've coped before, you'll cope again.
