Guided Imagery
As you settle into meditation, allow yourself to breathe.
This meditation will just be breathing.
Feeling the movement of air across your nostrils.
Noticing the difference between the inhale and the exhale breath. Feel
the movement across your skin, the temperature of the air.
Noticing the space between inhale and exhale.
Following your breath down into your chest.
The gentle rise and the fall of your clavicles.
the expansion of the ribs.
Allowing your breath to feel like a rhythmic dance of your body.
Feeling the expansion of your back.
Feeling the pressure of your belly as you exhale and inhale through your
entire body.
How do you feel about your breath?
Can breath be your anchor?
Can breath be your gentle friend who's always with you.
Can you welcome each breath with gratitude?
Can you find enjoyment in that space between?
Gently guiding your attention to the breath whenever it seems to wander.
Enjoying how it's different every time.
Enjoying that it's consistent, persistent.
Thank you breath for always being with me.
