    I lost my voice COMPLETELY this week, so today’s episode is a video I made for TikTok that has been very popular, and I wanted to share it with you. You can use this short hypnosis to turn down ringing in your ears, or to help desensitize you to any sound in your environment that is bothering you. It’s short so that you can “pop in” to your control room anytime you want to work with your dials and switches.

    Remember, your subconscious LOVES repetition, so keep practicing!

In addition to sports performance, she works with professionals and high performers to improve public speaking confidence, break unwanted habits, and reduce stress that interferes with performance.

    Her work is rooted in both science and personal experience, inspired by her journey as a parent when hypnosis was recommended to support her son following an ADD diagnosis—an experience that revealed the powerful role the subconscious mind plays in shaping performance, behavior, and personal growth.

    Robyn interviews longtime friend Melissa about her lifelong struggle with body image, bullying starting in early elementary school, and cultural pressures around weight. Melissa is a Director in Learning & Development who has spent her career helping others grow, but her most profound transformation has been her own. A lifelong wellness advocate and former Zumba instructor of ten years, she is currently completing her PN1 Nutrition and Wellness Coaching certification to bridge the gap between body and mind. She lives with her husband and their two Frenchies, and when she’s not cracking the code on wellness using tools like hypnotherapy, you can find her solving her way out of an escape room.

    Melissa describes feeling responsible for others’ emotions connected to empathic patterns and “protection weight.” Robyn explains her framework of safety, energetics, and subconscious beliefs, including coping behaviors that can start around age 14 and how nervous system safety affects weight.

    Melissa shares feeling shame, failure, and restrictive diet cycles despite fitness and nutrition knowledge, and says her turning point was combining hypnosis (future pacing) with a GLP-1 medication, resulting in nearly 70 pounds lost over 17 months with minimal side effects and reduced “food noise.” They discuss stigma, medication optimization, compassion for the body, and giving yourself grace.
