"Le livre de Néhémie" est un livre de la Bible hébraïque et de l'Ancien Testament. Le livre couvre une période de douze ans (-445/-433). "Le livre de Néhémie" raconte les progrès et les difficultés de l'œuvre à Jérusalem après le retour des Juifs de la captivité babylonienne.

"Le 2e livre des Rois" est un livre de l'Ancien Testament classé parmi "Les livres des Prophètes" dans la tradition juive et dans les livres historiques dans le christianisme. Dans certaines bibles et traditions, "Les livres de Samuel" sont regroupés en un seul. Dans d'autres, ils constituent deux livres séparés, généralement désignés sous la forme I Samuel et II Samuel.

"Le livre de Ruth" est un livre de l'Ancien Testament, et classé parmi les livres des Ketouvim (Écrits) dans la tradition juive. Il est généralement lu lors de la fête de Chavouot. L'histoire de Ruth se déroule à l'époque où les Juges dirigeaient le peuple d'Israël. Il s'agit de montrer comment une femme étrangère est non seulement entrée dans le peuple d'Israël mais est devenue l'ancêtre du roi David. Le récit met l'accent sur la loyauté exemplaire de la Moabite Ruth.
