The Emmaus Code
- How Jesus Reveals Himself Through the Scriptures
- Letto da: David Cochran Heath
- Durata: 12 ore e 58 min
- Categorie: Religione e spiritualità, Giudaismo
Sintesi dell'editore
In the 2014 New York Times best seller Jesus on Trial, David Limbaugh made a case for the Gospels as hard evidence of the existence of God, drawing on his own spiritual journey from skeptic to believer. Now Limbaugh looks deeper into the scriptures and discovers that Jesus Christ's very being reveals itself in a close reading of the sacred texts.
The Emmaus Code is a powerful, intimate journey toward an understanding of Christ as man, savior, and son of God.

Tremendous book!
I am very happy and grateful that I had the opportunity to listen to this book! I enjoyed very much the way the author summarized each book of the Old Testament and also how he summarized, "The Emmaus Code", during about the last seven minutes of the reading of this audiobook!

All about Jesus book.
This is one of the best books on Jesus the Messiah, I have encountered.
I will be purchasing a paper copy to reference and use as a study guide.
I will consider this book as a gift for any new believer.

Extremely enlightening - essential reading for bible study enthusiasts
The book was narrated at listening to speed and well done, however, when David Cochrane Heath referred to the various scriptural references making comparisons from the OT to fulfillment of same in the NT, it was extremely difficult to make note of them on paper. I had to play it again several times in order to write down the references. This, of course, is extremely important to audible listeners, especially if they want to keep the references at hand.

Brilliant.
The road from Jerusalem to Emmaus is seven miles long. This book takes us there with Jesus, Cleopas and the unidentified disciple - who Saint Anne Katherine Emmerich identified as Luke. Great book and audio book.

Excellent Work
Excellent survey of the Old Testament (part I) with detailed analysis of each OT book juxtaposed with the New Testament account of Jesus the Christ (part II). Overall, Mr. Limbaugh does a fantastic job explaining the OT pointing toward Christ and the NT pointing back; and scripture's over arching/complimentary story of God's redemptive plan. A great resource for individual or group study. Highly recommended.

Incredible wealth of information and knowledge
I can't say enough about this book. If you have a desire to know the history of Christ and the amazing predictions of His coming, years before his life, please get this book. I am truly thankful Limbaugh put this message to words. Excellent job!

Great job by Christian lawyer
Limbaugh's research and referenced writing will ensure this stands as quintessential material for Christians getting serious about who Jesus is. The only stones left uncovered are the meaning of His Hebrew Name and what we should do about that... Well done!

Great Book
I love the way the book takes you through every Old Testament book and shows how it's relevant to Jesus Christ. The overwhelming preponderance of the evidence leads to an inescapable conclusion that Jesus is the Messiah.
