The ancient story and legend of the fall of Troy.

The legendary poet of Greek antiquity Homer is surrounded by almost as much myth as the characters of his two epic poems The Iliad and The Odyssey. As two of the oldest extant works of Western literature they formed the foundations for Ancient Greek culture, and have been read, translated, adapted and enjoyed across the globe since the 8th century BC.

After ten years of war, Ulysses sets out on his journey home—but the sea shows no mercy, and the gods have plans of their own. The Odyssey is a tale of wonders, temptations, and dangers, and of a man who relies on his wit and courage to defy fate. Filled with adventure, emotion, and vivid imagery—this is one of those stories that has captivated readers for thousands of years.

The heroic story of the siege of Troy is as enthralling today as it ever was. The Greeks are entering the tenth year of their war with the Trojans, but their armies are fractured and their best warrior Achilles has abandoned the battle on a mission of revenge. Only the death of his best friend Patroclus persuades Achilles to return to battle and confront the Trojan leader Hector in single combat.

After ten years of war, the legendary hero Odysseus embarks on a perilous journey home, facing vengeful gods, seductions, and treacherous creatures. As his kingdom falls into chaos, his wife, Penelope, waits for his return—while the world changes around them.
