About Our Guest:
Dr. Thuy Ho Ellsworth, DPM, is a dual board-certified podiatrist and foot and ankle surgeon in the heart of Austin, Texas. As the medical director of Align Foot & Ankle, PLLC, Dr. Ho-Ellsworth values every patient’s needs and delivers compassionate care for their foot and ankle issues in English and Vietnamese.
Dr. Ho-Ellsworth was born in Vietnam. Her family fled by boat and lived in refugee camps in Thailand and Indonesia before they immigrated to the United States in 1980. Despite facing economic struggles and challenges to learn a new language, she and her family maintained a positive outlook and continued to strive for a better tomorrow.
Graduating from the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor’s degree in applied learning and development, Dr. Ho-Ellsworth started her first career teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) with the Austin Independent School District. She went on to pursue her medical degree at the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science.
