  • Jazzy’s Picks: Turn Your Differences Into Superpowers with Scot Conway
    Oct 19 2026
    Episode Description

For October, Jazzy is stepping out from behind the scenes and taking over the Badass Direct Sales Mastery feed while Jennie takes some well-deserved time away to GET MARRIED!

This month, Jazzy is sharing four episodes that have personally influenced the way she thinks, works, and lives.

Her next pick is Scot Conway.

As someone who also has ADHD and dyslexia, Jazzy immediately connected with Scot's perspective. Instead of treating those differences simply as disabilities, Scot's approach helped her think about how understanding your unique brain and personality can allow you to build a life that actually works with you instead of against you.

But one of the biggest lessons Jazzy took away from this conversation had nothing to do with productivity.

It was about becoming an Oasis.

The Top Three Things Jazzy Learned From Scot Conway

    1. Your differences can become your superpowers.
ADHD, dyslexia, and other differences don't have to be viewed solely through the lens of what makes life harder. Understanding yourself can help you recognize and leverage the strengths that come with them.

    2. Systematize your life around who you actually are.
Instead of constantly fighting your personality, create systems that help you work with it.

    3. Solve problems instead of living in conflict.
Understanding yourself—and the people around you—can help you decide what belongs in your life and approach differences without turning everything into a battle.

How Jazzy Implemented the Lessons in This Episode

Jazzy started with the “O” in OHANA: Oasis.

She intentionally began focusing on becoming someone other people could feel safe around—a person they could talk to, trust, and simply be themselves with.

Instead of trying to tackle every part of OHANA at once, she concentrated on being an Oasis.

    And something interesting happened.

As she worked on that one principle, Jazzy found that the other pieces of OHANA began falling into place naturally.

    Jazzy's Favorite Quote

“We don't have to be the same to be together.” — Scot Conway

  • Jazzy’s Picks: Learning to Love Yourself with Liza Lomax
    Oct 12 2026
    Episode Description

Jennie is off getting married, so Jazzy is taking over the podcast feed for October and bringing back four of the Badass Direct Sales Mastery episodes that have meant the most to her personally.

And few episodes came into Jazzy's life at a more important time than this conversation with Liza Lomax.

Shortly before this episode aired, Jazzy had undergone brain surgery and had to shave half of her head. She hated the way she looked, was struggling with depression, and wondered whether she would ever feel like herself again.

This episode challenged her to turn some of the love she so freely gave other people toward herself.

What started with saying three simple words in the mirror eventually helped change the way Jazzy saw herself.

The Top Three Things Jazzy Learned From Liza Lomax

    1. Loving yourself deserves to be a priority.
It's easy to pour love, attention, and energy into everyone around you while leaving very little for yourself.

    2. How you see yourself can change.
The person looking back at you in the mirror deserves the same kindness and compassion you would give someone you love.

    3. Self-love takes practice.
You don't necessarily believe the words the first time you say them. Sometimes you have to practice treating yourself with love before you begin to truly feel it.

How Jazzy Implemented the Lessons in This Episode

Jazzy started looking at herself in the mirror and saying:

    “I love you.”

At first, those words didn't necessarily match how she felt.

    But she kept saying them.

    Eventually, they became true.

And there's a pretty incredible ending to that story: today, Jazzy still keeps her head shaved—but now it's because she wants to.

The thing she once hated about her appearance became something she loves and considers part of who she is.

    Jazzy's Favorite Quote

“In order to love anybody else, in order to take care of any other person around ourselves, we need to take care of ourself first." - Liza Lomax

  • Jazzy’s Picks: Stop Bullying Yourself with Bruce Langford
    Oct 7 2026
    Episode Description

While Jennie is busy getting married, Jazzy—the woman working behind the scenes to help make Badass Direct Sales Mastery happen—is taking over the podcast feed!

Throughout October, Jazzy is bringing back four episodes that made a lasting impact on her life.

    First up is Bruce Langford.

This episode helped Jazzy recognize something most of us don't think about often enough: sometimes the biggest bully in our lives is the voice inside our own heads.

Bruce's lessons on mindfulness, gratitude, meditation, and paying attention to your internal dialogue didn't just stick with Jazzy—she actually put them into practice. Years later, some of those lessons are still part of her daily life.

The Top Three Things Jazzy Learned From Bruce Langford

    1. Pay attention to how you talk to yourself.
Negative self-talk can become so normal that we don't even recognize we're doing it. Learning to notice those thoughts is the first step toward changing them.

    2. Mindfulness can interrupt the cycle.
Instead of automatically believing every negative thought that enters your mind, mindfulness gives you an opportunity to recognize it, slow down, and respond differently.

    3. Start your day with gratitude.
Taking time to intentionally recognize the good in your life can completely change the way you approach your day.

How Jazzy Implemented the Lessons in This Episode

Jazzy didn't just listen to Bruce and move on.

She signed up for the seven-day trial Bruce offered and used it to learn how to meditate. She also began keeping a gratitude journal every morning—a practice she continues and credits with changing her life.

The episode also reinforced something else she tries to practice regularly: looking for small opportunities to help other people, whether that's through her time, money, skills, or services.

    Jazzy's Favorite Quote

“What's happening in your mind? What are you saying to yourself? What are you allowing yourself to think about yourself?” — Bruce Langford
