The thoughts, meanings, and emotional associations you attach to certain habits and experiences can shape the way you feel about them, sometimes without you even realizing it.
In this episode, I’m sharing a deeply personal story about how I began to understand this after going through one of the hardest seasons of my life. I talk about the association my brain had created between alcohol and sadness, how awareness changed the way I related to drinking, and why that realization made me curious about what else I could intentionally reframe.
So I started experimenting.
I practiced attaching more empowering thoughts to things I used to dislike, like reading and broccoli (hehe). Over time, those experiences began to change too.
This episode is an invitation to notice the patterns your brain has been repeating, choose one area of your life that could use a reset, and start intentionally creating a new meaning around it.
