A Great Finisher for the Wings of Fire Series

Funny, clever, amazing

Shannon McManus’s does the voices perfectly. also, she has been their for the whole entire series instead of backing out in the middle.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I did listen to it all in one sitting.

I was worried it wouldn't be as good as the others, i was wrong if anything it was better.

AWESOME

this is a great book. well written storyline, very detailed and easy to see the scenes play out. Quibli is so interesting and I like his thought process, and he makes the story ark more interesting.

A Fantastic End to the Second Arc.

This is a great book with a great reader. This series is a like a young adult Game of Thrones, but with a great moral on friendship and working together.

Great Ending Book

I was disappointed with some of the earlier books because of their short story feel. In this book there is none of that.

The characters have interesting interactions, are presented with complex situation and grow through these trials.

I am thrilled to give this book a five month in all categories. I love the narrator and will look for more books read by her and probably for more books by Tui, though I will always miss the complex world and dragons she brought to life in this series.

Perfectly Marvelous

This was almost overly happy, but satisfying nonetheless. Part of that satisfaction came from Qibli exacting some much-needed psychological takedown moves on the Main Antagonist here. I love it! Tui T Sutherland never ceases to amaze me with precisely she can make every bit of a character move and function.

About it being almost overly happy: It felt like a couple of heinous figures got a better ending than they deserved. But I guess we're past the arcs with Scarlet-like villains? And past any focus on revenge. And that's nice. That's why I've ultimately got to say that the happiness in here was satisfying. In particular, I'm a big fan of Winter's conclusions.

I did feel like these books were a little less focused than the first five. But they were shot through with even more wonderful things to consider, so I think that more than makes up for it.

And the narration, again, was fantastic. You all keep doing what you're doing and I'll keep listening! I hope there are more amazing things to come.

The person reading sucks but story is good.

I really couldn't't stand her voice, but this is the only audio book for book 10 so I suffered through it.
