Elias and his friends have made their way to Hepton. Having survived the System's demands so far, they are about to start on the next stage of their adventure. With new powers, tougher quests, and enemies that refuse to stay dead, Elias is pushed to his limits as both a fighter and a leader. The System itself is watching. Testing them, and happy to remind Elias who's really in control. Aside from the quests, the group enters their first instanced-dungeon, and while the rewards might be greater, the tasks in front of them are much tougher.

Getting dragged into an alien world was not high on Elias Critchley's to-do list. One moment, he's trying to avoid eye contact with people on the school bus. The next, he's suspended mid-air in a bizarre tutorial and dumped—naked—into a dangerous, System-bound world where survival is far from guaranteed. With nothing but his sarcasm, stubborn streak, dry wit and a few skills from his old life, Elias must navigate a world that feels like the games he used to play… only now, dying doesn't come with a respawn.

Getting kidnapped by the System and dumped into a fantasy world wasn't on Elias Critchley's to-do list. Still, he's managed to stay alive, level up, and keep most of his insides on the inside. Now the System's sent him and his party to a crumbling estate with a haunted past, a grieving lord, and a boy only Elias can see—one who isn't quite alive, but may not be dead either. The task? Fix it all. Quietly. Preferably without being eaten by anything with too many teeth.

Although Ashryn is busy overseeing the building of the new settlement at Ilimel, it's not long before he gets called away once more. Can Ashryn and his friends help those at Sanctuary deal with the Keroo? With unrest growing in Taldrisa, he is soon needed again to help alleviate the problem there, although he gets an unexpected visitor when he does.

Leaving behind his old life in Taldrisa, Ashryn was somewhat apprehensive about the task he'd agreed to undertake. Soon, realizing he's way out of his depth about building a new settlement, Ashryn is glad he has his closest friends there to help him. Building on a plot of land set aside for just this purpose by the Creators during the creation of the kingdoms, Ashryn and his friends make several very surprising discoveries.

Among the cities within the kingdom of Taldrisa, it was every 16-year-old's dream to wake up and see a notification that they had received a link to the System. Such a thing granted access to a Calling that would allow them to utilize the Mana in the world and create magic, forever changing their lives for the better. In a world that consists of five different races, as a human, Ashryn Tolman was one such young man. Unfortunately, the path laid out before him is anything but simple.
