  • How the Natural World can help to regulate your ADHD
    Oct 19 2026

Some of the biggest challenges for managing ADHD are regulating our attention, emotions and impulses.

In this episode, James Farrell, who runs The Natural Coaching Company, speaks to Katie and Sam about the benefits of getting outside for our mental health and wellbeing. James coaches people with ADHD through a process informed by our relationships with the natural world.

Being calm and still can be a challenge when you have ADHD but the natural world can offer help in ways perhaps we don't even realise.

Whether it's going for a walk, enjoying the beauty of nature or just being still, this episode looks at how these things can benefit an ADHD brain.

  • BONUS: ADHD and making rash decisions
    Oct 14 2026

In this episode Katie and Sam look at your ADHD stories and questions.

As an ADHDer do you find yourself immediately saying no to any request only to then change your mind when you've calmed down?

It can be hard getting a balance to life - not putting too much pressure on ourselves but also not making rash decisions that confuse our friends and family!

Also: the fatigue that comes with ADHD (why we're always exhausted) and is doing half a task and then moving on to the next one multi tasking or forgetfulness?

ADHDers often rely on stress to get things done but imagine life with triplets and a toddler like one listener who has got in touch.

And: Katie and Sam look at the absurdity of ADHD - can we have a sense of humour about ourselves?

Sam and Katie respond to your comments and questions about ADHD.

  • ADHD Stimming and Fidgeting
    Sep 28 2026

Stimming, repeated movement that helps us regulate, is associated with autism but many people (autistic and non-autistic) stim. What do we mean when we talk about ADHD stimming?

Fidgeting, feeling restless and like you've got too much energy is a massive part of ADHD. Your mind can race and you may find it hard to sit still but why do we do it?

What are these behaviours telling us about our body and our nervous system? Vicki George, The ADHD Nurse, spent years working in mental health services and specialises in diagnosing and treating people with ADHD. In this insightful chat, Vicki helps Katie and Sam identify what stimming and fidgeting really mean.
