Gian Carlo grew up in Amagansett in the 1970s, and his (and the band's) “surprise music” approach keeps every performance unpredictable. The trio talks how they formed, their songwriting quirks, and the creative energy of living near the ocean.

Amy Zavatto - Editor-in-Chief of Northforker and Southforker Magazine - joins Harry with a mostly rain-or-shine rundown in anticipation of this weekend’s weather. Up on the North Fork, The Smithereens will perform at The Suffolk in Riverhead tonight, featuring Marshall Crenshaw on vocals. Amy also previews the Autumn Antiques, Fine Art & Crafts Fair at the Southold Historical Museum, and the Fall Festival at the Shops at East Wind in Wading River, complete with live music, line dancing, and food trucks.

Down on the South Fork, Amy covers journalist Juana Libedinsky's talk on her new memoir, Downhill, at Southampton Arts Center, followed by a change of pace with the Ha-Ha-Hamptons Comedy Tour at Bay Street Theater in Sag Harbor, headlined by Bob Nelson. She also spotlights the Imagination Play Project Pop-Up at the Parrish Art Museum in Water Mill, a free all-ages creative play event.
