Episode Title: A Day In The Life Of A Tennis Player

    Episode #9

You are listening to Top 3 Network the podcast with your host Logan and co-hosts Luke and Danyal.

In this episode of Top 3 Network the Podcast we will be sharing a story about a day in the life of a tennis player.

    Segment 1: Introduction

In our final episode of the podcast, we are talking about something a little bit different. Instead of Luke and Danyal ranking their top 3 of something, they will narrate a story about tennis star, Roger Federer. And this is our third episode on tennis

Segment 2: Story Of A Tennis Player Going To A Finals Game (Roger Federer)

Logan: Alright Luke and Danyal, lets hear your narration of a made up story about a day in the life of Roger Federer.

Danyal starts off the story by talking about going to the wimbledon courts final when something scary happens: As Roger enters the dimly lit corridors of Wimbledon [sound effect], an eerie silence enveloped the usually erupting stadium. All of the audience are creepily staring at him. Strange shadows danced along the walls, and the player felt an inexplicable weird sensation in the air. With each step, the echoes of phantom footsteps seemed to follow, creating an unsettling feeling.[sound effect]As he approached Center Court, the lights flickered ominously, casting haunting shadows on the grass. The player’s heart raced as the anticipation of the final transformed into a spine-chilling encounter with the unknown

Luke continues the story by talking about Roger Federer’s reactions to this: In a random moment of nervous laughter, Roger decides to break the eerie silence. He comes up with an intelligent theory.[sound effect] “What if,” he said aloud, “the ghostly presence haunting Wimbledon is just a retired tennis ball collector upset about the missed shots?” As the words left his lips, a soft chuckle echoed through the corridors. Suddenly, the lights steadied, and the once ominous shadows seemed to retreat. Federer, amused by his own playful twist, continued towards Center Court, now with a newfound sense of confidence.

Danyal continues again: Little did he know, their impromptu joke had unwittingly appeased the spirit of the disgruntled ball collector. As the master, Roger Federer, stepped onto the court, the ghostly laughter faded, leaving behind an atmosphere of amusement rather than fear. The Wimbledon final proceeded as he faces his opponent Novak Djokovic under the watchful eye of a spectral tennis aficionado, who was not really haunting but rather enjoying the game from the other side. And so, Federer won in 5 crazy sets. The ball collector had suddenly disappeared and as Federer held the trophy, he realized that this was all in his head because he was so nervous about the match. The aficionado didn’t even exist! Federer happily takes home the trophy and even though it felt really mysterious, Federer realizes that the fear in his head was worth it as he got the wealthy, gold trophy that he will cherish forever.

    Segment 1: Introduction

This is our third episode about tennis, This episode Luke and danyal will give their opinions on the best tennis Matches in history, and today we have a guest who

,will rank them. We think that this is important to talk about because it is basically what the sport is, its like baseball games or track meets. Our guest plays tennis, and knows a lot about the sport. “How about you introduce yourself.”(Manas introduces himself). Why do you like tennis? Who is your favorite tennis player? Do you watch a lot of tennis?”(Manas answers all the questions)

    Segment 2: Ranking

    Luke:

3: John Isner vs Nicolas Mahut 2010 Wimbledon First Round. First round matches are usually not very competitive, as some of the best players in the tournament play against the worst players in the tournament. This match wasn’t like most first round matches as this match lasted 11 hours and 5 minutes, carrying over into a second day. This was the longest match of all time. John Isner ended up winning the match 6-4, 3-6, 6-7 (7-9), 7-6 (7-3), 70-68.

2: Rafael Nadal vs Novak Djokovic 2013 French Open Semi-Final. This match was the best clay court player in Rafael Nadal vs the best player in the world at the time in Novak Djokovic. This match ended up being a total shootout as both players were going back and forth. Rafael Nadal managed to win this match 6-4, 3-6, 6-1, 6-7 (3-7), 9-7.

1: Roger Federer vs Rafael Nadal 2008 Wimbledon Final. This match was the King of Clay courts vs the King of Grass courts in Roger Federer. You might think Roger Federer would be the clear winner because Wimbledon is on grass, but no, this match went down as one of the best matches of all time. Nadal won the first two sets. In the 4th set Nadal was up 5-2 and had multiple championship points. Federer held on though and ended up taking the 4th set. The 5th set was epic as both players taking the lead. Rafael Nadal pulled away with the win 6-4, 6-4, 6-7 (5-7), 6-7 (6-8), (9-7)

    Danyal:

3: Novak Djokovic Vs. Rafael Nadal 2012 Australian Open Final. This match was probably one of the best hard court matches ever. A significant match in the Djokovic–Nadal rivalry, Djokovic defeated Nadal 5–7, 6–4, 6–2, 6–7, 7–5 to win the tournament. It was the longest major final match (by duration) in history, lasting 5 hours 53 minutes, overtaking the record previously set by the 1988 US Open final between Mats Wilander and Ivan Lendl.

2: Rafael Nadal Vs. Roger Federer 2008 Wimbledon Final. After 4 hours and 48 minutes of play, Nadal defeated Federer 6–4, 6–4, 6–7, 6–7, 9–7. The match is regarded by many as one of the greatest tennis matches ever played.

    Episode #7

You are listening to Top 3 Network the podcast with your host Logan and Co Hosts, Luke and Danyal.

In this episode of Top 3 Network the Podcast we discuss: the Top 3 Tournaments in Tennis.

    Segment 1: Introduction

This is our second episode about tennis, This episode Luke and danyal will give their opinions on the best tennis tournaments, and I, Logan, will rank them. These tournaments that you will be hearing in this episode are the most popular part of the sport. Even though there are not that many huge tournaments and grandslams, there is so much to talk about during it.

    Segment 2: Ranking

    Danyal:

         3. ATP Nitto Finals- It is like the final of the full atp tour of like most to all tennis players. Not 2 or 1 because it is not a grandslam

          2. Wimbledon-Biggest tournament(called the championship)It is the most formal and classic championship. There are many famous courts and grass courts. The main reason I love this is because Roger Federer is my favorite player as we talked about last episode and he is like the “King of Grass” and the best grass player who has probably ever lived.

    1. U.S. Open-It is the most “hype” and like the crowd’s connection with the players finish and show off the vibes throughout. Along with this, in New Jersey, we get to watch the quarter finals and after that at night. I have been to the U.S. Open and the vibe when you see a top player that is liked win is unimaginable. My personal favorite stadium there is the Arthur Ashe Stadium.

    Luke:

3: Roland Garros (French Open): This is my third favorite tournament because it is the only major tournament played on clay courts since 1978 and is special because of that.

2: US Open: This is my second favorite tournament because I have been there and the vibe is amazing. There are three major courts, the Grandstand, Louis Armstrong Stadium, and Arthur Ashe Stadium. There are also 17 side courts. The US Open will always be a classic as it has been going on for the past 50 years. It is played on hard courts which is concrete.

1: Wimbledon: This is my favorite tournament because it is known as the championship and known to be the most prestigious tournament in the world. It is very formal and it is oldest tournament in tennis. WImbledon is also the only major tournament that is still played on grass courts, which is another reason why this tournament is so special.

    Segment 3: Combine and Judging

          3: Roland Garros

    1. Wimbledon

    1. U.S. Open
