Before there were 56 doors, apartment complexes, andbigger financial decisions, there had to be a shift in mindset.
In this episode, I share the deeper story behind myjourney from driving semis to building a 56-door multifamily portfolio.
This is not really an episode about how to buy apartmentcomplexes. It is about becoming the kind of man who can see a bigger future, overcome mental barriers, and take intentional action toward purpose.
While driving nearly two million miles, I startedbecoming more intentional about what I listened to, who I learned from, and thevoices I allowed to shape my thinking. The truck became a classroom throughaudiobooks, leadership teaching, faith, reflection, and personal growth.
I also share why hiring a coach before buying my first24-unit apartment complex was one of the most important decisions I made. Heunderstood the process, but more than that, he helped me get out of my own way, separate real risk from imagined fear, and believe that the opportunity infront of me was possible.
Key Takeaway
Before you build something bigger on the outside, youusually have to build something stronger on the inside.
Your current season may be demanding, painful, orunclear—but it can still train you for the person and future you are building.
