I have spent the last three years battling through the family court, magistrate’s and civil courts to keep my child and myself safe. We all look for a relatable story in hard times, when maybe we feel isolated and alone. So my aim within this podcast, is to bring you stories through brave individuals who are willing to come forward to share their experiences.

    With 1.5 million women in the UK alone suffering from Endometriosis, and many still waiting for treatment or even formal diagnosis, this week we are joined by Jorja who after 10 years living in pain finally got her endo diagnosis at age 25.

    Within this episode, Jorja is going to tell her story which will include the processes and treatment she received.

    In this mini-episode, we are breaking down Clare's law or DVDS (domestic violence disclosure scheme).

    We will discuss how it was started, why, and how you go about requesting information under the 'Clare's Law' act. Lastly, I have been permitted to share a real-life story from a listener who has reached out and shared their experience with requesting a DVDS on someone they were dating, and how getting this potentially saved them from being in a violent relationship.
