  • Welcome to The Never Ending Armpit, an exotic radio show, funnier and stranger than any armpit you’ve ever listened to before. In a vast universe in which magic and madness collide, a pompous young German named Hermann wakes up one morning only to find that his house has been replaced by a bus stop. Reluctantly accepting shelter in the store cupboard of the horribly optimistic and slightly dimwitted café owner Matilda, he embarks on a painfully bureaucratic journey to get his house back. But standing up to ‘the man’ is not easy when you are the laziest man on Earth and all you have as support is a clumsy café owner and an indignant French olive who is thoroughly entertained by your failings. While Hermann makes as much progress at getting his house back as a fly smacking against a closed window, Matilda’s attempts to reinvent her café result in a stream of ever changing business concepts that often end in disaster. Regularly providing his unwanted opinion on the goings-on in Matilda’s café, Monsieur Olive is a real, talking olive living on Matilda’s counter-top after she carelessly threw his entire out-of-date family into the rubbish bin. Surrounding these three hopeless characters and hell bent on hindering Hermann’s plight is a cast of creatures and inanimate objects brimming with their own personalities, hopes and dreams. If you like Hitch Hiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, The Mighty Boosh, Spaced, Black Books and Monty Python, you might have come to the right place. The Never Ending Armpit is written and produced by Florian Lambrecht and Georgia Savage, a married German-British couple currently residing in the ridiculously beautiful city of Salzburg, Austria.
