What if slowing down enough to truly feel the loss of something is one of the most important skills we can master? And what happens when we stop seeing emotions as weakness?

This is the full conversation with Tessa Alexa Stanford, where we go deeper into the themes that inspired her highlight segment, “We Transform Our Grief Into Revolutionary Love.”

🚀 Meet Tessa:

Tessa Alexa Stanford, Founder & CEO of the Institute for Open-Hearted Psychology and Unspoken Global, left her decade-long career in the Social Welfare Sector in 2016 when she became increasingly disillusioned with our systems of care and modern psychological approaches to mental health and overall wellbeing.

During her career, Tessa attained her First Class Honours in Psychology (2011) and specialised in Holistic Wellbeing Interventions, Trauma Assessments and Staff Development, working with disadvantaged populations across Child Protection, Early Intervention Mental Health, Domestic Violence, Alternative Education, and with Asylum Seekers and Refugees.

She now works at the nexus of mental health, spirituality and creativity, offering pathways of initiation in True-Self Expression and Grief-Informed Leadership.

What if the real work was never deciding what to build, but becoming the person who could build it?

Welcome to the Launch of The 100 Year Vision with Sam Higgins.

In this highlight episode I ask Tia Marie to share the future she sees coming…

🚀 Meet Tia:

Tia Marie Harrison is an entrepreneur, business mentor, and strategist helping founders build the businesses they believe they were uniquely designed to create. With more than two decades of entrepreneurial experience spanning hospitality, brick-and-mortar businesses, nonprofit leadership, brand development, and the online business space, Tia brings practical business expertise together with a deeply intuitive understanding of leadership, wealth, and purpose.

Her entrepreneurial journey began at 25, when she became an executive chef in San Francisco before co-founding a pioneering women-owned whole-animal butcher shop and a nonprofit dedicated to preserving the craft of butchery. Today, her work explores the intersection of business building, personal transformation, faith, and what she calls God Built - the belief that some businesses aren't simply opportunities we choose, but work we feel called to bring into the world.

At the center of Tia's work is a different approach to building: calling determines direction, execution produces information, and evidence creates precision. If something specific is being built, she believes the founder's job isn't to keep asking the market what their business should become, but to become increasingly precise in building, testing, funding, and expanding the work they've chosen to steward.

Through her mentorship, Tia helps founders develop the conviction, business acumen, and precision required to turn calling into a business capable of carrying it. She is also the creator of the God Built Summit, a gathering of entrepreneurs building distinctive businesses around the work they believe they were put here to do.
