Luke 10:38-42. In our culture more is said to be best. However, the more we squeeze into our schedule, the less margin we have in our life. Margin is the amount available beyond what is necessary. When we don’t have margin in our life, we don’t have the ability to take advantage of unplanned opportunities that God puts in our path. Margin matters… because great stuff can happen in the margins.

Matthew 5:14-16. When light is absent, darkness takes over. However, when light is present, it stands out and alleviates darkness. A light doesn’t need an announcement that it’s a light. It just is. And when a light is present, its presence is obvious. In the midst of darkness in our world, Jesus calls us to be the light. In this message we talk about tangible ways we can ensure our light is shining in the darkness.

We know that salt is good for flavor, but what else is salt good for?
