• The Business "AI Playbook" Every Australian Business Needs Right Now
    Oct 26 2026
AI doesn’t have to be all doom and gloom. 🦄💸✨ I’m tired of hearing that AI is going to take our jobs and crash the economy. It doesn’t have to be that way. Social media can be a pretty loud echo chamber of fear, hot takes and worst-case scenarios; but there are also businesses using technology to protect people, create more opportunity, build stronger communities and grow with real purpose. That’s what this space is for. In this episode of She’s Taking Over, I’m unpacking a case study from CommBank and what their approach can teach us about using technology for good; without losing sight of the humans, customers and communities on the other side of it. 💛 The big takeaway? The businesses that will win in this next chapter won’t just be the ones with the flashiest AI tools. They’ll be the ones who use technology to create leverage, reduce risk, build trust and reinvest in what matters. Some of the outcomes CommBank has delivered: A $90 million commitment to reskill employees over three years 30,000 hours of employee training already delivered Around 40,000 proactive scam-warning alerts sent every day 5.9 million intelligent first-time payment warnings sent since 2024 More than 350,000 scammers intercepted through calls and messaging since August 2025 $20,000 grants given to 180 community organisations, with six receiving an additional $80,000 An 85% employee engagement rate while serving 18.6 million customers 😲 That is what “technology for good” can look like in real life: protecting customers, developing people, strengthening local communities and creating brand warmth that money can’t buy. ❤️ For small-business owners, this episode is your reminder to keep your business brain switched on. Don’t adopt AI just because everyone else is talking about it. Start with your mission, your customer and the real problem you want to solve. Your three priorities: De-risk: Know where your AI tools and agents are operating, and protect your business, customers and team. Create leverage: Look for time, money and resource wastage you can reduce or reallocate. Build trust: Use the capacity you create to improve your customer experience, invest in your community and build a brand people genuinely want to choose. You do not need to be a coder to start. You can do so much with tools like Claude and Google already and we’re here to help if you need support. 🧚‍♀️ Chapters 00:00 Welcome to She's Taking over 01:35 Why I’m done with the AI doom-and-gloom narrative 03:20 What I’m seeing inside big business right now 05:15 The CommBank case study: technology grounded in customer trust 08:30 De-risking AI, agents and cyber security 11:05 The numbers: scam warnings, reskilling and customer protection 14:20 Building community, employee ownership and brand warmth 17:10 The three-part framework: de-risk, create leverage, build trust 19:20 What small businesses can do now 21:00 What I’m learning in this new chapter Helpful resources Download the CommBank digital transformation roadmap; the 17 moves, initiatives and outcomes behind the case study. • What Are We Working This Hard For? | Brock Ashby
    Oct 19 2026
The first thing that struck me about Brock Ashby was the way he spoke about his wife and children. You can tell when a man means it. That made me curious about the business behind their life. Brock had spent years working from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. to build his coaching career. He had the drive. He was good at what he did. And before he became a father, he made a decision about the kind of man he wanted his children to know. What does it take to build with that much ambition and still be there for the people you love? Brock tells me how he earned his clients’ trust, what he changed in his business, and why being present at home mattered enough to plan for it early. I wanted to understand the courage behind that choice, because I believe the people we love are a huge part of what makes a life rich. A strong family, faith that you’ll figure things out together, a husband and father who shows up. That matters to me. If you’re working hard to build something of your own, I think you’ll recognise Brock’s drive. I hope his story also makes you think about the life you want that work to hold.

  • Sarah Dixson, Mayor of Woollahra: Faith, Family And Leadership
    Sep 23 2026
Can you build a business, raise a family and still have a life you love in Sydney? If you have ever looked at the cost of housing, childcare, growing a business and a full calendar and wondered how women manage to hold all of it, this conversation is for you. In this episode of She's Taking Over, I sit down with Sarah Dixson, Mayor of Woollahra, family lawyer, business owner and new mum, to talk about what actually makes an ambitious life sustainable. Sarah has a six-month-old baby, a legal practice, a role leading her local council and a deep connection to the community around her. Her answer is refreshingly human: build your village, communicate clearly, ask for help and let people show up for you. This is a conversation for the woman building her career, contemplating family, or trying to create a beautiful life in a city she loves. We talk about: ⚡ How to build a real support system around your ambition 🤝 Why asking for help and accepting it expands what is possible 👩‍⚖️ Running a business while carrying meaningful responsibility 🗣️ The role communication, reputation and community play in building a career 🏡 Creating a life you want to stay in as Sydney changes 📚 Why being the most prepared person in the room matters 🙏 Faith, resilience and trusting that you can handle what comes next Sarah also shares the “grit and glamour” she inherited from the powerful women in her family, and the lesson she is carrying forward: you can do it, and you do not have to do it alone. 📊 DOWNLOAD JENNA’S STRATEGIC INTELLIGENCE REPORT Want to go deeper into what’s changing for business owners? • The Career Portfolio Is Here! How Georgie Healy Built A Business, An Exit & A Voice In AI...
    Aug 21 2026
The traditional career is shifting. What's replacing it is the career portfolio: A mix of skills, personal brand and side projects that you own, no matter what happens to your job. 🚀 AI just made building one faster than ever. In this episode of She's Taking Over, I sit down with Georgie Healy, host of In the Blink of AI, writer of Substack, Attention Is All I Need, former lead of Google's AI accelerator, and founder of Possum Playtime, to talk about what it actually takes to build leverage in this window of AI. Georgie has walked down almost every road of the "non-traditional" career path. She built and exited a tech business pre-AI, led innovation at one of the biggest companies in the world, and then walked away from the stability of Google to bet on her own personal brand, launching a monetised newsletter from week one to test whether she could commoditise her voice. Most importantly, we talk about what you can actually do now: ⚡ Audit what you're known for. 💻 Test if people will pay before you build. 📣 Build your reputation. 🧠 Use AI to remove barriers that used to require a team. 🗣️ Have an opinion, let it evolve. 🤝 Sell your skills back into your own network. 📈 Create leverage while the cost of experimenting is low. Because building a career portfolio isn't about protecting yourself from AI. It's about using this moment to build something that's undeniably yours. 📊 DOWNLOAD JENNA’S STRATEGIC INTELLIGENCE REPORT Want to go deeper into what we discussed in this episode? • This Is Australia’s AI Window! Here’s How to Get Ahead...
    Aug 12 2026
The old ways of creating security are changing. AI gives us a small window to build skills, businesses, brands, networks and leverage before the next version of work fully arrives. Invest in yourself. Get digitised. Build your network. Have a voice. 🚀 In this episode of She’s Taking Over, I sit down with lawyer, arbitrator, mediator and former parliamentary legal adviser Steph Hunt to talk about what the AI shift actually means for Australians, our jobs, businesses, wealth and future. We’re already seeing the workforce restructure. Jobs are moving offshore. AI is changing what businesses need from employees. The traditional pathways to building wealth feel harder, while the cost of living keeps climbing. But there is another side to this story. For people who are prepared to move early, AI is creating an extraordinary amount of leverage. We talk about why your expertise can become a business, why your personal brand and reputation may become some of your most valuable assets, and why skilled professionals have an opportunity to turn what they know into consulting businesses, Creative Units, services and intellectual property. We also unpack what Australia needs to get right. 🇦🇺 How do we protect Australian jobs without stifling innovation? How do we make it easier for small businesses to hire locally? What happens when highly skilled professionals leave traditional employment? And how do ordinary Australians have more of a voice in the policies shaping the next decade? This isn’t a conversation about left versus right. It’s a conversation about being awake to what is changing, understanding the game you’re playing and making deliberate moves while the window is still open. We cover AI, entrepreneurship, consulting, offshoring, Australian small business, tax, wealth creation, personal brand, reputation, community and the future of work. Most importantly, we talk about what you can actually do now. ⚡ Build your skills. 💻 Get digitised. 📣 Build your reputation. 🤝 Strengthen your network. 🧠 Learn to use AI properly. 📈 Create leverage. 🇦🇺 Have a voice in the future we’re building. Because this isn’t just about protecting yourself from AI. It’s about using it to create a more free future. 📊 DOWNLOAD JENNA’S STRATEGIC INTELLIGENCE REPORT Want to go deeper into what we discussed in this episode? Dec 14 2025
He worked 92-hour weeks in construction to fund his dream. DM’d 1,000 strangers and raised €60k in 7 days. Launched a beauty app with no tech background. Lost it all. Rebuilt. And now? • How Frank Greeff Built, Sold and Rebuilt: The Founder’s Marketing Playbook for Talent, Distribution and Team Performance
    Dec 7 2025
What does it take to build a category-leading company, exit, and then choose to do it all again… but on a bigger stage? In this episode, I sit down with Frank Greeff, co-founder of Realbase (acquired by Domain) and now building Kinso, to unpack how he thinks, hires, communicates and builds momentum. This is a candid look at the systems, standards and decisions behind scaling companies, attracting exceptional talent and using personal brand as a genuine growth engine. We talk through: Why he interviewed 110 engineers to hire five How founder-led content generated 11,000+ waitlist sign-ups What actually creates culture (and what kills it instantly) How to attract A-players without diluting standards Why teams only perform when they’re energised, not micromanaged Designing a life that supports ambition: family, fitness and focus The skills his kids will need in an AI-dominant world Core ideas: Hiring is a benchmark game, not a box-ticking exercise Standards shape culture and they slip fast if you let them Personal brand multiplies distribution, trust and talent flow Presence matters more than pace Implementation beats information People stay when they feel they’re becoming someone better Documenting the build creates belief and momentum Human energy becomes the advantage as AI scales Key timestamps: 3:00 Scaling Realbase to 400 staff 4:06 Why Frank chose to build again 5:28 The 110-interview hiring philosophy 9:12 What actually builds culture 28:33 The content engine behind Kinso 31:52 Why Kinso hires people who want to be on camera 40:35 Personal brand as leverage 42:25 Documenting the build 52:08 Skills the next generation will need I’m on a mission to bring that global, collaborative founder energy to Australia.
