• Agape: The Love That Remains
    Aug 25 2026

What does it really mean to love like Jesus?

Agape is deeper than affection. It isn’t transactional, it doesn’t require unlimited access, and it doesn’t disappear simply because someone disappoints, hurts, betrays, or walks away from you.

In this episode of She Quietly Rises, we go deeper into what Scripture means when it says, “God is love.” We look at Jesus weeping at Lazarus’s tomb even though He knew resurrection was coming, washing the feet of Judas knowing betrayal was coming, and hanging on the cross praying, “Father, forgive them,” while He was still being wounded.

We also confront some uncomfortable questions: Can you love someone you don’t like? Can you set boundaries and still walk in agape? Do you genuinely want your enemies restored—or secretly want them to suffer? And what happens when someone leaves…but the love remains?

Maybe healing doesn’t always mean becoming indifferent. Maybe surrender doesn’t require you to stop loving. Maybe sometimes God removes the grip without removing the love.

    Because agape can say:

I love you, but I don’t own you.
I love you, but I release the outcome.
I love you, and I’m still going to live.

And when someone who hurt you is thirsty?

The question becomes: Will your wound answer—or will Jesus?

  • Love Was Never Meant to Be a Transaction
    Aug 9 2026

What if we've been defining love all wrong?

Many of us have measured love by phone calls, birthdays, holidays, attendance, and whether someone showed up the way we expected. But is that how God defines love?

In this episode of She Quietly Rises, we explore what Scripture actually teaches about biblical love. Together we'll unpack why so many people feel unloved, how unmet expectations can become the lens through which we interpret every relationship, and why Jesus never intended love to become a transaction.

We'll talk about what it means to love in deed and in truth, why healthy boundaries can be an expression of love, and how forgiveness, grace, and obedience often look very different than the world expects.

We'll also examine why no person can fill the place in our hearts that was created for Christ alone, and how allowing people to define our worth will always leave us empty.

If you've ever found yourself thinking...

"If they really loved me, they would've called."

    "They would've been there."

"They would've made me a priority."

    ...this episode is for you.

Love isn't measured by keeping score.

    It's revealed by the Cross.

Join us as we discover the freedom that comes when we stop trying to earn love and begin receiving the love that Jesus has already given.

    Scriptures Discussed:

    1 John 3:18

    1 Corinthians 13:4–8

    Matthew 5:46

    Matthew 22

    Genesis 1:27

  • When the Letter Makes You Miss Jesus
    Jul 20 2026

What if we have become so committed to defending our interpretation of Scripture that we have missed the One Scripture has always been pointing to?

In this episode of She Quietly Rises, Shantel explores the difference between knowing the letter of the Word and knowing the heart of Christ. From the Pharisees to the finished work of the cross, she unpacks why Jesus fulfilled the law, why fear-based teaching keeps believers looking at darkness instead of the Light, and what it truly means to tear down strongholds.

Together, we explore Hebrews 6, the meaning of anastauroō, “to crucify afresh,” the significance of Ethanim, “ever-flowing,” and why the finished work of Jesus is more than a doctrine. It is the place we are called to live from.

This episode also confronts teachings that make believers more conscious of demons, curses, and spiritual attacks than they are of Jesus. If a message continually exalts the enemy above the cross, leaves people fearful and suspicious, or teaches them to live as though Christ’s sacrifice was not enough, it has missed the heart of the gospel.

For the woman who is healing, breaking religious patterns, and learning to trust the heart of God again, this episode is an invitation to lay down fear, renew your mind, and become more conscious of Jesus than of the enemy.

Because sometimes quietly rising means allowing Jesus to tear down the strongholds in your own mind before you try to tear down anything around you.

Quietly rising is not only about finding your voice.

It is also about releasing the beliefs that kept you bound.

It is allowing truth to replace fear, freedom to replace bondage, and Jesus to become the center again.

The gospel is not about becoming experts on darkness.

It is about becoming witnesses to the Light.

    The cross is finished.

    Jesus is enough.

    And His life still flows.

  • What Does It Mean To Be A New Creation?
    Jul 5 2026

What does it really mean to be a new creation?

In this episode of She Quietly Rises, we slow down and search one of the most quoted verses in Scripture:

"If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation."

Together, we explore the difference between reading and searching the Scriptures, why God's Word is living and God-breathed, the meaning of the Greek word kainos, and how true healing begins when we stop identifying with our past and start believing who God says we are.

Because healing isn't becoming someone new.

It's believing the identity you've already been given in Christ.

    Jul 4 2026

Why do we wear masks? In this episode of She Quietly Rises, we explore how rejection, heartbreak, and survival can shape the identities we carry and the masks we learn to wear.Together, we'll talk about authenticity, agape love, the fear of being fully seen, and why healing requires the courage to take off the mask and return to who God created us to be.Because the mask may protect you from rejection, but it can also keep you from connection.💗 Faith • Healing • Freedom

  • Healing Is Returning Home
    Jun 7 2026

Welcome to the very first episode of She Quietly Rises.

For years, I believed healing was about finding myself.

    Becoming stronger.
    Becoming better.
    Becoming someone new.

But what if healing isn't finding yourself at all?

What if healing is returning home?

In this episode, I share a revelation that came while listening to a song I had written called She Quietly Rises. A single lyric stopped me in my tracks:

"Back to the little girl God created before the world told you who to become."

That moment led me to revisit Jesus' words about becoming like a little child and opened a deeper conversation about identity, healing, the rooms of the heart, and God's desire to dwell in every part of us.

    We'll explore:

✨ Why healing is not becoming someone new
✨ Returning to who God created you to be
✨ The hidden rooms of the heart we often keep locked away
✨ Why God opens those rooms—not to shame us for the wounds, but to fill them with His love
✨ How healing the little girl within changes everything

If you've ever felt disconnected from yourself, trapped in old patterns, exhausted from carrying what was never yours to carry, or longing for deeper healing, this conversation is for you.

Because what stays hidden gets repeated.

But what gets healed changes generations.

💗 If this episode resonates with you, leave a comment that says RETURN HOME and let me know if you'd like me to release the full version of the song She Quietly Rises.

  • When Silence Becomes the Cycle — And How Healing Breaks It
    Jan 7 2026

This episode may be the conversation you've been avoiding- but your healing has been waiting for.

Season Four begins with a truth many women have lived — but few have been given language for.

This episode is about the quiet cycles we stay in long after we’ve outgrown them…
    The silence we call “peace”…
The needs we learn to swallow…
And the patterns that only change when we do.

Through honest reflection and lived wisdom, Shantel shares what three marriages taught her about:

    • Why lust is not love
    • Why loneliness can’t be healed by having someone in your bed
    • Why children are not a reason to stay in unhappy marriages
    • Why seasons end — and sometimes the book itself closes
    • The difference between human mistakes and destructive patterns
    • What it really means to love yourself, speak your needs, and set boundaries
    • And how anchoring your life in God changes everything

This is an episode about reclaiming your voice, your worth, and your peace.

Because silence doesn’t keep relationships safe —
    it keeps cycles alive.

And cycles only break when we finally choose truth.

  • The Peace Found in the Pause | When God Tests the Word You Just Preached
    Dec 28 2025

A Spirit & Soul Sunday episode about forged peace, living proof, and Papa meeting you in the stillness.

In this Spirit & Soul Sunday, Shantel shares what happens when God tests the very word you just released — and instead of fear rising up, peace sits down beside you.

From Psalm 119:165 to the meaning of “martys,” from a loan denial that touched the future of Royalicious to a miracle that fed families in the middle of the pause, this episode is not theory — it is evidence.

If you are walking through delay, disappointment, unanswered questions, or a season where nothing is moving, this is your invitation back into Presence. Because peace isn’t found when everything works out. Peace is found when Papa meets you in the pause.

    Scriptures referenced: Isaiah 6:6–7, Acts 1:8, Psalm 119:165, Romans 8:15, Galatians 4:6, John 14:27
