• More Than a Smile: The Oral Microbiome and Whole Body Wellness -
    Jan 20 2026

In this episode, I’m joined by Sally DiCesare.

Sally is a holistic dental hygienist with 47 years of experience helping women understand the deep connection between the mouth and whole-body healing. She works with women who have given so much of themselves to others that their own health has quietly suffered — often showing up first as oral issues like bleeding gums, cavities, or chronic inflammation.

Her work supports a gentle return to balance by honoring the body’s design, restoring the oral microbiome, and helping women reclaim energy, clarity, and trust in their ability to heal — starting with the mouth.

This work is part of Sally’s larger movement — helping capable women stop pushing through emotional depletion and instead restore themselves so they can live, love, and lead with greater peace and vitality.

  • Health, Wealth, and Human Nature: Understanding Why You Spend and How to Change
    Jan 12 2026

In this episode, I introduce you to Ted McLyman.

If spending smart were just about willpower, you’d be rich by now. The financial industry treats you like a robot, assuming you’ll always make the logical choice. But as you know, a ,"Sale" sign can defeat a logical plan in seconds.

Ted used to be a financial advisor, but not anymore. He stopped pushing people into one-size-fits-all plans. He created a system that uses behavioral science to make smart spending easier.

Before becoming a 'Reformed Financial Advisor,' Ted served as a US Marine Corps Lieutenant Colonel and an Economics Instructor at the U.S. Naval Academy. His experience spans from combat zones (Desert Storm, Urgent Fury) to the boardroom, where he served as Aide to the Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Financial Management.

Post-service, Ted managed money as a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA), founded Apexx Behavioral Financial Group, and co-founded DreamSmart Behavioral Solutions. He holds degrees from Colgate (BS), Boise State (MS), and Pepperdine (MPA), and have published five books on spending smart.
