  • Light 'Em Up -- the home of fan-first sports debate!

Each episode features debates on the past, present, and future of sport and sports culture from the people who care the most about sports -- fans! You won't find shouting matches and the same ole talking points on this show.

Here at LEU, nuanced debate, witty punchlines, and informed opinions sway our live listening audience to determine wins and losses across our two debate formats.

Light 'Em Up (LEUs) debates are 1:1 contests with a two, 2-minute opening statements explaining their stances; a 10-minute cross fire segment where those stances are challenged and explored; two, 2-minute closing arguments; and then a two-minute live vote from our listening audience.

Our other format is Round 'Em Up (REUs), which is inspired by the show "Around The Horn". In this format, three contestants do free-for-all battle in two, 8-minute halves where they work to convince the audience why their take reigns supreme.

At the end of the first half, the audience determines who had the weakest performance to decide who moves on the second half.

At the conclusion of the second half, another vote occurs to determine who placed 1st. 1st place gets 3 points; 2nd place gets 1 point; and 3rd place gets 0 points.

    We thank you for listening!
