A proposito di questo titolo

Hola Amigas, you made it. The Latina Entrepreneur Podcast is the podcast for women like you, Latina entrepreneurs, Latina business owners, and first-generation entrepreneurs navigating the realities of building a business while honoring God, your family, culture and identity.

I am your host, Annia Mercado, I am a business coach and consultant with Unique Blend Consulting. I help business owners find clarity, ease and freedom in their business by helping them build systems, teams and clarity. My family is from Mexico, but I grew up in California and I noticed there wasn't a space to talk about our experience. A space to explore entrepreneurship through a Latina lens while having honest conversations about money mindset, leadership, generational dynamics, and the “between two worlds” experience so many Latina founders live every day.

Each episode dives into topics most podcast avoid: God and business, and family guilt. You’ll hear solo educational episodes on entrepreneurship, systems, and leadership, alongside culturally rooted conversations.

This Podcast Is For You If:

  • You’re a Latina founder navigating identity, leadership, and growth
  • You’re first gen and feel like you’ve been carrying responsibility your whole life
  • You’re tired of holding everything together sola
  • You want strategy and self-awareness — no una sin la otra
  • You want to build a business that feels aligned, not performative
  • You want to scale with ease with business systems

Whether you’re a Latina entrepreneur starting without a safety net, a first-generation entrepreneur redefining success, or a Women of Color entrepreneur building a business that supports both your dreams and your family, this podcast is your space.

This is where cultura meets strategy. So glad you’re here.

  • 05: When You Feel Stuck, This Is How You Decide (Without Burnout)
    Feb 10 2026

Have you ever stared at your laptop for 20 minutes trying to make a decision that should only take two? Rewrote the same email over and over again? Or avoided opening something because you knew there was a decision waiting for you?

I’ve been there too. And I want you to know this: you’re not bad at leadership. You’re not indecisive. You’re experiencing decision fatigue.

As a Latina founder and Latina entrepreneur, I know what it feels like to carry the weight of constant decision-making—not just in my business, but for my family, my clients, and the people who depend on me. In this episode, I’m sharing the truth about burnout, why decision fatigue happens, and the exact 7-step system I use to make clear, aligned decisions without overthinking or guilt.

This is about protecting your energy, rebuilding trust in yourself, and leading in a way that actually feels sustainable.

    In this episode, I share:
    • What decision fatigue really is and why it leads to burnout
    • Why making constant decisions drains your mental energy
    • How I stop overthinking and make decisions faster
    • The difference between fear-based decisions and fact-based decisions
    • How I step into my CEO identity when decisions feel heavy
    • My 7-step decision filter to reduce mental load and create clarity

This episode is for you if:
    • You’re a Latina entrepreneur feeling burned out from carrying so much
    • You struggle with overthinking or second-guessing your decisions
    • You feel mentally exhausted from leading your business
    • You want to make confident decisions without guilt
    • You’re ready to lead with clarity instead of survival mode

  • 04: What to Do When Your Business Feels Off as a Latina Entrepreneur
    Feb 3 2026

As latina entrepreneurs, we’re taught to work hard, push through, and sacrifice , pero nobody teaches us how to pause and ask: Is my business actually aligned with what I value?

In today’s episode, I’m breaking down why values are not aspirational — they’re operational. Whether you’ve named them or not, your values are already guiding your decisions, your boundaries, and even your burnout.

We talk about how misalignment shows up in your nervous system before it ever makes sense logically — and why so many latina founders feel exhausted even when they’re doing “everything right.”

This is where self-awareness meets strategy. This is leadership with intention. 💫

✨ In This Episode, We Talk About:

    • Why your values are already running your business (even if you’ve never written them down)
    • The difference between what you say you value vs. what you actually prioritize
    • How misalignment shows up in your body before your mind
    • Why inherited cultural values don’t always equal aligned leadership
    • What “freedom,” “family,” and “success” really mean to you — not to everyone else
    • How latina business owners can lead with clarity instead of guilt
    • Simple reflection questions to help you identify your real values

✍🏽 Journal Prompts from the Episode:

    • What do I consistently protect, even when it costs me?
    • Which decisions recently felt heavy — and why?
    • Which moments made me feel proud of how I showed up as a leader?
    • If my business fully honored my values… what would need to change.

    Hasta la próxima, amiga. 💛

  • 03: The 3 Systems Every Latina Founder Needs Before Burnout Hits
    Jan 27 2026

Hola Amiga, guess what you’re not lazy. You’re not unmotivated. Your business has simply outgrown what your effort alone can hold.

If you’re a latina entrepreneur building a business with corazón, faith, and cultura—but secretly feeling exhausted, stuck, or indispensable—this episode is for you.

Today I break down the moment every latina founder and WOC founder eventually hits, but no one warns us about: the scale breakpoint.

That moment when working harder actually stops working.

We talk about why this transition is especially complex for culturally shaped leaders, how our collectivist values impact delegation, and why building systems doesn’t mean becoming cold or corporate—it means protecting your energy, your team, and your vision.

This conversation is about moving from effort-based leadership to people-first, values-aligned systems that allow your business to grow without breaking you. Porque no vinimos hasta aquí para quemarnos.

    ✨ What You’ll Learn

    • What the scale breakpoint is and why it’s not a failure—it's a design moment
    • The subtle signs your business depends too much on you
    • Why Latina entrepreneurs experience burnout differently (and more often)
    • How cultural values like collectivism can make delegation feel uncomfortable
    • The 3 minimum viable systems every growing business needs
    • Why building systems actually increases care, clarity, and confianza
    • How systems help you lead with claridad y armonía, not control
