  • S5-EP17 British Victim Madness with Gav
    Apr 17 2026

This week we welcome in our favorite smart ass and fellow Kiss hater, Gavin O'Connor. Gav is a Twitter legend with his controversial and witty takes on music and politics and life in general. We hear Gav's music and Priest story along with a chat about Northern Irelands music scene. Of course a lot of music is discussed that Jay knows nothing about and Jeff could teach a class on.

Our Priest Family Madness tournament is both timely and historic with Judas Priest OG Al Atkins record Victim of Changes Vs. birthday boy British Steel. Both Al and British Steel played important rolls in the history of metal.

Speaking of history, the Spinner year was the historic year of 1975. Wow!

Check Gav out on Twitter @GOC1978

  • S5-EP16 Resurrecting Nostradamus with Hattie
    Apr 10 2026

This week we welcome back a Priestcast OG, Hattie. We get caught up with Hattie and see what she's been up to. We get sidetracked though and end up chatting about the culinary delicacy of 2 stroke oil and we debate whether coffee is too liquidy. Hattie has a fascination and obsession with Boston and also tells us we need a sound board. One of us apparently frequently says weird things and one of us has ruined all of his plain white T's with salsa stains. Of course a lot of music is discussed as well.

The Priest Family Madness Tournament rolls on with Halford's Resurrection Vs Judas Priest Nostradamus. Will Jay's love for Nostradamus or Jeff's dislike of it take it over Resurrection? We'll let Hattie decide.

The Spinner year was 2002. Great year for Jeff, slim pickins for Jay. Of course we make interesting.

  • S5-EP15 Stained Class Rides Again with Squashy
    Mar 27 2026

This week we welcome back our good friend Squashy. @FUTURESQUASH767 is always a fun and interesting conversation because he really knows his music. We get caught up on all of Squashy's latest concert escapades and he always hips us to a band or two we've never heard of. Jeff and Squashy shoot the breeze about a bunch of bands Jay's never heard as well as albums both new and old that are worthy of discussion. We also hear Jay's idiotic dating profile before we get into the Priest Family Madness tournament. This week's battle features the historic and influential Stained Class Vs. The Sinner Rides Again by KK's Priest. We could try to build some suspense regarding the winner but we respect you all too much for that.

The Spinner year was 2015. We all picked some great records definitely worth discussing.

  • S5-EP14 Defendulator Madness with Casper
    Mar 13 2026

This week we welcome in Casper the friendly Ghost and Priest and metal fan. We have a rad conversation about a variety of things including how her dad put her aboard the Crazy Train to metal. We also discuss how Casper is a great humanitarian and wants freedom And Justice For All. Jeff and Casper reminisce about how every metal head knows or knew a Scandinavian exchange student named Bjorn that introduced them to foreign metal.

The Priest Family Madness Tournament rolls on with an interesting battle between two Priest records that could not be any more different- Defenders Of The Faith Vs. Jugulator. Could we have another first round upset?

The Spinner year is the only year Judas Priest released two records,1978. Jeff is not a 70s fan and it's Jays favorite decade of music. What will Casper pick?

  • S5-EP13 Sin For A Halo with Connor
    Feb 27 2026

This week we welcome back to the Priestcast our favorite Londoner, Connor. Connor is a NWOTHM expert as well as a fantastic music podcaster and documentarian. Connor is also a wannabe teacher apparently and assigned Jeff and Jay some homework involving three bands and records they had never heard. Of course we give oral book reports on those three records as well as discuss a bunch of other bands and some upcoming tours.

The Priest Family Madness Tournament rolls on with a fun matchup between two records released 46 years apart with Sin After Sin Vs. Horns For A Halo by Elegant Weapons.

Never Fear, The Spinner is here with the Dark year of 1992.

  • S5-EP12 Ram It Deadly with Sam and Charlie
    Jan 30 2026

This week we get caught up with our good friend and first ever guest on the podcast, Sam. Sam is always a great and thoughtful conversation because he is about the smartest person we know. We sit around and talk about everything and anything from country music to local soda pop and everything in between. Of course we talk alot of metal and even review the new Megadeth.

The Priest Family Madness tournament rolls on with an interesting matchup between two largely forgotten albums, Priest's Ram It Down Vs. Fight Small Deadly Space. I think Vegas had this as a pickum going in.

The reloaded Spinner spat out 1976. Jay was in a Rush to discuss his choice while Jeff is not the biggest 70s fan but hit a home run with his pick. Sam as always had a thoughtful and excellent pick.

  • S5-EP11 GTFO Madness with Hollywood and Dirty Jim
    Jan 16 2026

This week we welcome in two dudes that have been best friends for over 30 years. They bonded over music back in the day and continued on as bandmates and started a music podcast years later. Hearing their high school and life stories will not only bring back memories of your high school years but also have you laughing your asses off.

The Priest Family Madness tournament rolls on with Jay's favorite record of all time, Sad Wings of Destiney taking on 2014's Redeemer Of Souls. Will we have another massive upset?

We have come to the last year on the ol Spinner wheel which was 2001. Have we really had 50 episodes? Crazy.

  • S5-EP10 Year End Madness with Squashy
    Dec 25 2025

For our last show of 2025, we welcome back our good friend Squashy (@FUTURESQUASH767). We get caught up with our homie and all his shenanigans and concert escapades. We couldn't do a year end episode without an album of the year segment of course. Our Priest Family Madness tournament rolls on with another battle of first's: Two- Voyeurs Vs. KK's Priest-Sermons of the Sinner. The results were not unanimous. The Spinner year was 2021 and there are some surprises as usual.
