  • What's Written on YOUR Banner?
    Apr 19 2021
Our focus this week is on how we can change our life's direction by changing our mindset. "What's on your banner?" is about your true values and beliefs - what do you live by and stand by? What's of critical importance to you? Both Andrea and Helen are going through their own unique journeys: last year Helen was betrayed by her partner and has been on a journey of self-discovery and transformation. Andrea has battled against Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer - and won! She has declined chemotherapy and utilised a range of alternative therapies to heal herself. We are living examples of how the power of transforming yourself is life-changing! If you feel that you need support from either a psychotherapist or a life coach (or both) on this topic, then please get in touch with us via our contact details below. **************************************************************************************** Hi! • Stress and Our Emotions 2 - Creating Harmony
    Mar 15 2021
Hi! We are Psychotherapist Andrea Killeen and Wellbeing & Relationship Coach Helen Gregory, located in Cheshire, England. Each week in the Inside Therapy podcast we discuss the modern mental health issues that so many of us face nowadays, from overwhelm, not feeling "enough", depression, anxiety, loneliness through to relationships, friendships, infidelity, social acceptance - and more.  ******************************************************************************* Our current discussions are around stress and our emotions. Last week we looked at https://player.captivate.fm/episode/48546186-e555-4469-8aaf-d8d369b0f598/ (Emotional Eating) - something that we believe is close to many people's hearts as boredom, stress and sleep deprivation have triggered us to overeat as a means of "soothing" ourselves. This week the focus is on Creating Harmony - something we all should strive for every day, but particularly with the added stresses and strains of working from home, home-schooling children, redundancy, financial worries and so on. We discuss "masculine" and "feminine" energies and how we would all benefit from having a better balance of both within ourselves. Give yourself the gift of 38 minutes to listen, consider and take action for yourself and those you love! if you feel that you need support from either a psychotherapist or a life coach (or both) then please get in touch with us via our contact details below. • Stress and Our Emotions 1 - Emotional Eating
    Mar 7 2021
******************************************************************************* This week, with the prospect of the UK moving out of lockdown in the near future, we're moving the focus away from "Surviving and Thriving in Lockdown 3.0" and opening up discussions around stress and our emotions. The first topic is Emotional Eating - something that we believe is close to many people's hearts as boredom, stress and sleep deprivation have triggered us to overeat as a means of "soothing" ourselves. The great news is that we can retrain our brains to eat mindfully and be alert to the triggers that make us eat due to emotion rather than true hunger. Listen to this episode (40 minutes) to find out more ... and if you feel that you need support from either a psychotherapist or a life coach, then please get in touch with either (or both) of us via the contact details below.
