  • From Palace to Desert: Making of a Deliverer
    Oct 22 2026

From Palace to Desert: God Prepares Moses for the Burning Bush Exodus 2:15–3:1

In today’s devotional, we follow Moses into Midian—an unfamiliar land where he arrives with no identity, no community, and no sense of belonging. Egypt rejected him. The Hebrews rejected him. And Midian was not home. Yet this season of total exile becomes the very place where God begins His deepest work.

Moses learns humility, patience, and quiet obedience as he serves in obscurity. He goes from prince to shepherd, from impulsive strength to steady faithfulness. While Moses hears nothing, God is actively preparing both a nation in Egypt and a leader in the desert. The silence is not abandonment—it is alignment.

On an ordinary day, doing ordinary work, Moses comes to Horeb, the mountain of God. He isn’t seeking a miracle, but God is preparing one. The man who once belonged nowhere is about to belong to God alone.

This devotional invites us to embrace the truth that God often shapes us in places that feel foreign, quiet, or unnoticed. Identity collapse becomes the doorway to calling. Ordinary faithfulness becomes the pathway to divine encounter. And the God who prepared Moses in Midian is the same God shaping us in our everyday lives.

Stay faithful. God is preparing holy ground ahead.

  • Moses Identity Crisis
    Oct 16 2026

    Exodus 2:11–25

Moses grew up between two worlds: raised in Pharaoh’s palace with privilege and power, yet born into a Hebrew family marked by suffering. When he stepped out to see his people’s pain, his two identities collided. One impulsive act changed everything, sending him from royal halls to desert solitude.

In Midian, God continued the hidden work. Through humility and quiet years, Moses learned what Egypt could never teach him — that identity is shaped before assignment. While Moses wrestled with who he was, God heard Israel’s groaning, remembered His covenant, and prepared the next chapter of deliverance.

This devotional reminds us that God uses tension, rejection, and hidden seasons to form leaders. Moses’ identity crisis wasn’t failure. It was formation.

Week 3 of our series: Moses — Deliverer in the Making. A story of identity, calling, and the God who sees, remembers, and prepares.

  • MOSES: GOD PREPS A DELIVERER
    Oct 8 2026

The story of Moses begins long before his birth. This devotional traces the shift from Joseph’s legacy of peace to the rise of a new Pharaoh who “did not know Joseph,” setting the stage for fear, oppression, and God’s quiet preparation of a deliverer.

We explore how political amnesia reshaped Egypt, how fear turned into brutality, and how two courageous midwives defied a king to honor God. In the middle of danger, a Levite mother hides her child, places him in a basket of hope, and watches God orchestrate a rescue through Pharaoh’s own daughter.

This opening message reminds us that God’s promises survive every upheaval, His purposes advance even in silence, and He prepares deliverance long before we see it.

    A changed climate.A threatened people.A protected child.A deliverer preserved.

Welcome to Week 1 of Moses: Deliverer in the Making.
