    Join us each week for our Dark Obsessions True Crime podcast that Carissa and Ashley have discussed for several years now. They were nervous, scared and a little intimidated, until one day they bought the equipment and said let’s do this. We decided to finally rally together to do this podcast for our love and interest of the true crime world and share with others.     Shanda Renee Sharer was a young beautiful, vibrant 12 year. In 1991 she transitioned from a private school to a Hazelwood Middle School in New Albany, Indiana. After a lot of drama her parents took her out of a public school and put her back into a private school. Little did they know that did not stop the drama. On January 10, 1992, Shanda sneaks out of her dad's house under the pretense of seeing an old friend and was tortured and murdered and burned alive over jealousy.
