• EP# 85 : Social Worker Burnout
    Oct 12 2026

If you’re a helper who gives everything to everyone else and wonders why you’re running on empty, this episode is for you. Tiffany continues her personal story — Part 4 — pulling back the curtain on the social work profession and the cultural norms that quietly pave the road to burnout. From the “save the world” mentality to the emotional labor of carrying clients’ pain, the pressure of being on call 24/7, and the reality of doing it all with limited resources — she shares the moments that shaped her understanding of compassion fatigue and why burnout recovery starts with recognizing what you’ve been carrying all along.

If you’re a social worker, therapist, caregiver, or high achiever who feels exhausted but keeps pushing through because “someone needs you,” this conversation will help you see what’s happening beneath the surface — and why your passion for helping doesn’t have to cost you everything.

  • EP# 83: People Pleasing and Perfectionism
    Oct 5 2026

If you're a high achiever, helper, or caregiver who feels exhausted but can't seem to slow down, this episode is for you. Tiffany shares part two of her personal burnout story — diving deep into the people-pleasing, perfectionism, and doer mentality that quietly drove her toward chronic stress and compassion fatigue. If something feels off and you're running on empty but still telling yourself you should be able to do it all, Tiffany gets it. She unpacks how tying your identity to being the "good kid," the loyal team member, or the one who always says yes creates a pattern that leads straight to burnout — and how boundaries, self-compassion, and learning to say no became her path to burnout recovery. Whether you're a therapist, a social worker, a parent, or anyone who feels like you can't stop doing, this episode will help you understand what's happening beneath the surface and why your exhaustion is trying to tell you something important.

  • Ep 81: Rhythm Over Balance for Overwhelmed Helpers
    Sep 21 2026

If you’re feeling overwhelmed and exhausted by the constant push to “stay balanced,” this episode is for you. As helpers, high achievers, and caregivers, we often hold ourselves to a rigid standard of discipline — and then wonder why we’re running on empty. In this walk-and-talk, Tiffany reimagines burnout recovery through the lens of rhythm instead of balance. She shares why the tightrope of “having it all together” doesn’t work, how tuning into your body’s natural cadence (not a strict routine) can ease burnout and compassion fatigue, and why even slow mornings and gentle walks count. If something feels off and you’re exhausted from trying to do it all, this conversation will help you trade rigid discipline for rhythms that actually support your brain, your body, and your nervous system.

    In this episode:

    * Why balance feels rigid — and what rhythms offer instead

    * The orchestra metaphor: harmonious vs. disjointed life patterns

    * Walking, circadian health, and listening to your body (even with chronic illness)

    * Trading “I need more discipline” for “what rhythm does my body need today?”

  • #5 Burnout is a Bad Romance: The Love Story You Actually Deserve What Healing After Burnout Really Looks Like
    Aug 31 2026

Welcome to the final episode of our “Burnout is a Bad Romance” series. If you’ve been with us through all five parts — thank you. This is where it all comes together.

In this episode, we explore what healing from burnout actually looks like — the messy, non-linear, circular reality of it. We talk about:

    * Why healing isn’t a straight line (and why that’s okay)

    * Grieving the person you used to be — even the “good” parts that weren’t actually serving you

    * Building new rhythms: pausing before pushing through, checking your capacity before saying yes, and letting rest keep you connected to who you are

    * The unexpected gifts of burnout recovery — self-trust, slow mornings, helping from overflow instead of depletion, and real peace

    * Dr. Caroline Leaf’s insight that burnout recovery typically takes 1–3 years because of how long we’ve been holding it together

    * What if the goal isn’t confidence, but trust? Trusting that you’ll notice, honor your body, ask for help, and change direction when needed

    * Imagining a new relationship with yourself — one built on compassion, curiosity, boundaries, grace, and feeling anchored within

Burnout was never your identity. It was your survival strategy. And survival deserves compassion — but you also deserve to live a life that’s more than survival.

    Aug 17 2026

Welcome back to the Burnout Is a Bad Romance: Let’s Break Up series. In this episode, we explore how burnout and toxic relationships both chip away at your sense of self — and why the fear of “who am I without this?” keeps us stuck in patterns that are hurting us.

    * Reflection questions to help you reconnect with the parts of yourself that might flourish outside the role or relationship

  • #2 Burnout Is a Bad Romance : Rationalization Isolation
    Aug 12 2026

In this episode of Breaking Up With Burnout, I continue my series "Burnout Is a Bad Romance" to speak directly to the helpers, high achievers, caregivers, and therapists who tend to push through exhaustion rather than tend to it. I explore how the same excuses that keep people stuck in toxic relationships — rationalizing red flags, telling yourself "it'll get better," isolating from support — are the very same excuses that keep us stuck in burnout and compassion fatigue.

I share my own story of working in complex trauma and anti-trafficking work, where I mistook my capacity to "handle it" for a badge of honor, until panic attacks, sleeplessness, and constant tears became impossible to ignore.

My therapist's question — "When's it gonna get better?" — became the moment I finally saw that burnout recovery wasn't about pushing harder, it was about making hard choices to protect myself.

As discussed in the episode here it the Burnout Reset Guide for anyone who needs it!

If this episode resonated with you, or the Burnout Guise helped you in any capacity, I'd love to hear from you. Reach out anytime at info@seethewonder.net, or head over to seethewonder.net to learn more about our therapy, coaching, and organizational trainings for burnout and compassion fatigue. You don't have to navigate this alone — support is just a message away.
