• 239. Journal With Me: When Your Life Looks Nothing Like You Expected
    Apr 30 2026

You thought your life would look different by now. Different relationships. Different pace. Different version of you.

And instead, you’re here. Trying to make sense of a reality you didn’t plan for, while part of you keeps going back to how it was supposed to be. This is where you either stay stuck in comparison… or gently start meeting your life as it is.

This journaling practice walks you through both. The version of life you expected and the one you’re actually living. What it feels like. What you’re making it mean. And how to begin moving forward without forcing yourself to rush past anything.

If life hasn’t gone the way you thought it would, this gives you a way to process it and start finding your footing again.

    Journal Prompts
    • What did you expect your life to look like right now? Think about relationships, finances, health, hobbies, goals, or anything else that comes up
    • What does your life actually look like right now? In those same areas and anything you didn’t expect
    • How does your current life feel compared to what you imagined? What are you making that mean about you and where you are?
    • What shifts when you stop comparing and focus on your life as it is? The people, the moments, what you’re creating
    • How is this version of your life better than you expected? Even in small ways, moments, or lessons
    • What do you want your life to look like going forward? Based on who you are today
    • What proof can you find that you’re on the right path? What is one small step you can take today to move forward

You don’t need to have it all figured out to take the next step. Sometimes it starts with being honest about where you are and letting that be enough to move forward.

  • 238. What Changes When You Stop Waiting for Life to Feel the Way You Want
    Apr 28 2026

Turning a year older is supposed to feel a certain way. More settled. More clear. Like things have clicked into place.

But that’s not always the case.

Life still feels like it's shifting. You're figuring it out as you go. And there's a quiet gap between what you expected and what's actually here.

That's what this episode is about. The version of life that was supposed to feel established by now. The moment you realize it doesn't look like that. And what starts to open up when you question whether that version was ever right for you in the first place.

Because maybe nothing has gone wrong. Maybe the shifting, the uncertainty, the not-quite-there feeling — that's not the problem. That's the season.

We get into what it looks like to invest in yourself before everything else. To trust your own instincts without needing to justify them. And to let yourself feel love and presence in the life you actually have. Not the one you're still waiting to arrive.

If your life doesn't look how you thought it would by now, this one's for you.

  • 237. Journal With Me: How to Make Decisions Faster (When You Keep Putting Things Off)
    Apr 23 2026

There’s always that one thing sitting in the background. The email draft, the decision that hasn’t been made, the task that keeps getting pushed to later.

It starts small, but it lingers.

It shows up as mental noise, low-grade guilt, and a constant sense of “I need to get to that.” What looks like clutter is often just a delayed decision.

This strategic journaling practice is a way to see what’s actually being avoided, understand what’s underneath it, and create a clear, simple path forward without waiting to feel ready.

    Journal Prompts

    • What is the pile right now? The laundry, the inbox, the conversation that hasn’t happened. Everything that feels like clutter, physical or mental. Write it all out.
    • From that list, what is the one thing that hasn’t been done? The one that brings up that low-grade guilt every time it comes to mind.
    • What’s the real reason it hasn’t been done? Not “there hasn’t been time.” Go beneath that. What feels like it might happen if a decision is made or action is taken? What feeling is being avoided?
    • Is that fear actually true? What happens if it does come true? What happens if it doesn’t?
    • What is one small step that can be taken today? Not the whole solution. Just a tiny, doable action.

Save this episode for the next time you catch yourself putting something off.

  • 236. The Simple Way to Start Decluttering & Feel Less Overwhelmed
    Apr 21 2026

There’s always that one thing you keep meaning to get to. Clear the desk. Tackle the closet. Finally deal with the pile that’s been sitting there for weeks.

But when the moment comes, it feels like too much. So it gets left. Again. And somewhere along the way, it quietly turns into “I’m just a messy person.”

This conversation with Tracy Hoth shifts that.

Clutter isn’t the problem. It’s delayed decisions. And when you see it that way, it becomes something you can actually move through.

Instead of focusing on what to get rid of, you start with what you love. What you actually use. You begin to question the identity you’ve been holding onto.

And instead of thinking about everything at once, you come back to one small thing you can finish today. Not everything. Just one.

That’s where it starts to feel lighter. Not by becoming someone new, but by seeing what’s already there and taking one step from that place.

  • 235. From Rushing and Always Being Late to Calm Mornings (Why It’s So Hard to Slow Down)
    Apr 14 2026

You tell yourself to slow down. You know rushing doesn’t feel good.

But somehow you’re still filling every spare minute, still leaving late, still carrying that tension into your mornings. You even catch the moment where you could start getting ready a bit earlier. And instead, you do one more thing.

I took myself through a real coaching session after noticing how much stress I’ve been holding and how often I’ve been rushing through simple, everyday moments.

Not because I don’t know what to do. But because something underneath it has been driving the pattern the whole time.

We get into the belief that makes stillness feel uncomfortable and productivity feel safer, even when it’s the very thing creating the stress. And why slowing down feels harder than it should, even when you want it.

If you’re aware of your patterns but still find yourself doing the opposite of what you want, this will hit.

  • 234. Journal With Me: From Staying Quiet to Speaking Up. The Beliefs That Made You a People Pleaser
    Apr 9 2026

You had something to say. You felt it come up. And then you pushed it down.

You told yourself it’s not necessary. That it’s better to keep things smooth. But later, you’re still thinking about it.

    That’s not random.

There’s a belief underneath that moment. One that decided speaking up changes how you’re seen. That it creates tension. That it makes you a problem.

And that belief didn’t start here.

Today you’re sitting down with your journal and going into that. Looking at where staying quiet began, what it gave you, and what it’s been costing you.

    Journal Prompts:
    1. Think about the last time you didn’t say something you wanted to say. What were you afraid would happen if you did say the thing?
    2. Where did that fear come from? Not this situation, go back further. Who in your life made you feel unsafe or uncomfortable to speak up or to ask for what you needed?
    3. What did you learn about yourself from that person or from that experience? Finish the sentence: When I speak up, I am…
    4. How did this belief keep you safe as a kid? And what has staying quiet actually cost you?
    5. What do you want to believe about speaking up instead? Speaking up means…... Speaking up doesn’t have to mean…...
    6. What is one thing you would say this week if you knew your relationships, your job, or your reputation wouldn’t crumble?

If something clicked for you while doing this, stay with that. Not the whole story. Just the part that felt true. You don’t need to fix it all at once. Seeing it clearly is enough to start.

  • 233. Why You Keep Falling Back Into Old Patterns (Even After Doing the Work)
    Apr 7 2026

You did the work. You named the belief. You felt the shift.

And then somehow… you’re right back in it.

Saying yes when you meant no. Filling your time again. Second guessing yourself. Apologizing after you finally spoke up.

It makes you question everything. Like maybe it didn’t actually stick. You’re back at square one.

This is the part no one prepares you for.

Releasing a belief isn’t the finish line. It’s where things start to get real. Old patterns don’t just disappear. They come back in quieter, sneakier ways. And if you don’t recognize them, it’s so easy to think you’re doing something wrong.

    You’re not.

What’s happening here is part of the process. The discomfort, the pull to go back, the confusion… it’s your system trying to find what’s familiar.

Once you can see how it shows up for you, you move through it differently. Not perfectly. But with awareness that actually changes something.

If you’ve been in that space of “I thought I already worked through this,” this will land.

  • 232. Journal With Me: From "I Don't Know My Purpose" to Finally Seeing It
    Apr 2 2026

You’re asked what you’re passionate about and your mind goes blank.

Not because it’s not there. Because you haven’t slowed down long enough to hear it.

Your days are full. Work, kids, responsibilities, constant output. You keep everything running, but somewhere in that, you lost connection with what actually lights you up.

So instead of trying to “find” your purpose, this is where you start seeing it differently. Through what you’ve already lived. Not something you need to go out and create.

Today you’re sitting down with your journal and walking through prompts that bring you back to yourself in a way that actually feels honest.

    Journal Prompts

    1. When someone asks what you’re passionate about or what lights you up, what happens? Do you go blank? Change the subject? Give an answer that doesn’t feel true?
    2. Think about the hardest season of your life. What was actually happening? How did it feel?
    3. How did you cope during that time? What did you do to protect yourself, your time, or your energy?
    4. What came out of that season? Who did you become? What did you figure out?
    5. Because of what I went through, I am really good at…............
    6. Picture someone in the middle of what you already survived. What do you want to say to her? What does that show you about what you’re here to do?

If you’ve been feeling disconnected, unsure, or like everyone else seems to know what they want except you, this is for you.
