In this episode our host Monica Monique talks about the fashion brand Hanifa calling a quits.

After the news broke of this fashion brand closing, the social media streets were a buzz.

While originally customers were upset over late shipping and canceled orders now it seems they wish they hadn’t did a public out cry because now Anifa , owner of Hanifa said “ Byeeee”

Now What? Was it worth it?

One less beautiful black owned fashion that actually had an identity gone.

Our host was actually on Anita’s side the whole time.

Preorders and a profit first method is Monica Monique’s preferred way of sales and in this episode she goes over why.

The fashion internet is in shambles — and this week we’re getting into why everybody suddenly has smoke for Law Roach. 👀

After stepping out of retirement and stepping back into his “image architect” era, Law made headlines for styling billionaire wife Lauren Sánchez during Paris Couture Week… and let’s just say the looks sparked opinions. From “mob wife couture” accusations to debates about tailoring, body proportions, and whether money can buy fashion credibility — the girls (and the critics) have been loud.

But the real question is:

Are people actually mad at the styling… or are they mad at what Law represents in fashion power dynamics?

In this episode, we’re unpacking:

• Why the internet expected Law Roach to have Zendaya’s morals

• The pressure stylists face when working with ultra-wealthy clients

• Whether Lauren being styled means Law roach is maga

• If this backlash is rooted in elitism, body politics, or fashion gatekeeping

• And the bigger industry play Law might be making behind the scenes

Because this conversation isn’t just about outfits — it’s about influence, access, branding, and who gets to be positioned as a fashion icon.

If you love fashion commentary, industry tea, and branding psychology… this episode is one you don’t want to miss.

In today’s episode, Monica Monique is diving deep into a conversation every independent designer needs to hear, the fine line between inspiration and copying in fashion.

Using Milano De Rouge and Fe Noel as real-world case studies, we unpack two very different approaches to protecting brand identity in the age of fast fashion and viral aesthetics.

One brand is calling out the duplication of a logo tied to a geographical city.

The other is sounding the alarm on something more nuanced — a distinct design language and recognizable aesthetic that doesn’t rely on a single symbol.

But when both are pointing at the same industry problem, why is one narrative gaining traction while the other seems to be missing the mark so far?

Does a logo carry more legal and cultural weight than a signature silhouette?

Is it easier for the public to rally behind what they can visibly recognize? And what does this mean for small brands fighting billion-dollar factories of imitation?

let’s get into it!

In today’s dear diary, episode, Monica talks about planting seeds and different places.

And what she means by that is spreading out your business and posting and listing your fashion brand or items on all different platforms and just being patient to see what grows.

Well, some things might happen quickly. Some things might take years, but it always comes when you need it and if you never try, then you’ll never reap the benefits of those seeds
