Excellent information
This book was well thought out clearly presented. The exercises are short, simple and easy to follow.
I don’t know anyone who doesn’t worry. It’s not just for neurotics...

Did not expect to like this book
I was searching for books about empaths and found this in the recommendations. I needed something interesting to listen too—not too pedantic, not too hokey and I was thoroughly surprised by how useful this book could be. I wasn’t in a worry state at the time but I took plenty of notes through the audible app. It was well worth the time to listen.

Utopian
It is simply put quite utopian. Still as an academic take, it makes sense. The realistic possibilities are at best impractical.

Very interesting and informative
This is a very interesting and informative audiobook. It teaches how to live worry-free life. Everything is well explained. And the book has many useful techniques to practice every day.

Will def listen to again and again
I have suffered from ocd and anxiety most of my life. Although my life is overall a happy one, worry often lurks and seeks to devour any joy I have. Ocd is a doubting disease that makes it difficult if not impossible to trust anyone, even yourself. It has negatively effected my life and relationships and even though I have gotten sooo much better, I wanted to improve even more. That’s why I got this book.
The narration seemed robotic to me at first but then I found it very soothing and came to hang on his every word. I honestly feel like this book was written just for me, it was such an immense comfort. One of my main goals is to let go of the past and stop fearing the future. I’ve never been able to live in the moment. This book def helps with the tools for such aspirations!
I’m glad this book was written by doctors and the science they incorporate into it is fairly easy to understand. Some of the examples of ppl they used were hard to relate to but the process of dispelling worry is the same no matter what variation of it you have.
I think this book would be excellent for anyone to read, not just those with chronic worry and other disorders. I finished it in two days and I def plan to read it over and over again ♥️👍🏻

I absolutely love this book!!
I have listened to this book several times after purchasing it. Whenever I find myself about to get in that stress and worry mode, I simply listen to this book. For me, the narrator’s voice alone seems to calm me down and ease my worried mind.

If you have Anxiety, I recommend this book!
This book was in my recommendations as I have been listening to a few self help books after years of anxiety so I thought well it's part of my audible plus might as well give it a try ... WOW! ...
I was fascinated from the first chapter. No confusing technical terms, just straight forward cause and effect!
Every chapter was a different way of looking at techniques and exercises to control the stress and anxiety in everyday life, how your brain fires because of habit which is the reason you react to every situation and scenario, different chapters gave different personal accounts of the people they had treated with different methods for different individuals.
It was a real eye opener!
I have just ordered the physical copy mainly because of the many different exercises in this book, I could have wrote the exercises down from the audio but I am going to read the book again to pick up on anything I've missed.
I have suffered from anxiety and depression and all that goes with it for 20 years I believe this book will be my turning point when I put the exercises into practice!
Highly recommend

Disappointing
with what should be a positive book full of insight and advice, this book fails to hit the mark. The first eight chapters are literally being told what they will do for you or telling you what your life aims are. If your stressed out then patience isn't top of your list.

If you suffer from panic disorder avoid!
I don't normally write reviews but I felt I should warn people looking for help when they really need it like myself and instead being presented with a lot of preamble and American hard sell.
I don't need 10 minutes of what the book will do for me or how they have helped so many people, I just want practical tools to help cope.
What really made me realise that this book wasn't for me was the examples given as to what was worrying their clients, this is strictly for corporate employees, all the terminology is geared towards such a person.
Finally if you worry incessantly than the last thing you need to be told is that constant stress leads to poor health, heart attacks and premature ageing.

Excellent for overthinkers
Love this so much. Read lots of self help books but i felt like this author really understands anxiety and people who tend to over think. After spending a few days trying the suggested techniques i started to finally feel more relaxed and slept better. Helped me through a difficult time. Would recommend.

I was really looking forward to this, but...
It was quite full and badly executed. I had big hopes, but it was constantly repeating it's self and not getting to the point. I eventually gave up and stopped.

Left me feeling awful after just a few minutes
I don't normally post reviews unless there is a good reason. This is one of those. Just listening to the audiobook for a few minutes raised my stress levels.
The message the author is trying to deliver, it is awful. I have listened to all of Rhonda Bryne's audiobooks, which are exceptional. They leave you feeling motivated, hopeful and positive overall. They truly change your mood to a positive and hopeful one.
This audiobook does exactly the opposite of what it was intended for. I removed it from my library and am glad i did not have to pay for it as it is included otherwise I would have asked for my money back
