Informative and enjoyable.
Great introduction to Kiwi culture. Feel better prepared for upcoming travel to the country. Even more excited after reading the book.

Amusing sort of tongue in cheek look Kiwis
Was going to New Zealand and wanted some books to listen to about the place and its people while road tripping. There just wasn't much on Audible filling that need, so I bought everything there was. This was a cute listen, doesn't take itself too seriously. Goes into things like the war between NZ and Australia on the topic of who invented the Pavlova.

Generous overview of an interesting country
I was initially hesitant to listen to the book because of the mediocre reviews, however this was a wonderful and entertaining listen. I will listen to it again. As the author reports that this book was completed in 2016, I am sure the landscape has been affected by the recent events of that country. The content of this book makes it a great value and is especially useful to someone visiting the country.
