In this episode, Kevin discussed… MUST Part 2 2 Corinthians 5:11-14 (MSG) “Christ’s love has moved me to such extremes. His love has the first and last word in everything we do.“ 2 Corinthians 5:14 (NLT) ”Either way, Christ’s love controls us. 2 Corinthians 5:14 (NKJV) For the love of Christ compels us. Matthew 26:24 (NLT) ”For the Son of Man MUST die, as the Scriptures declared long ago.“ Every MUST we decide stems from this. Jesus MUST be Arrested Accused Sentenced Crucified Sacrificed Buried Raised So You can be Saved Because He MUST we MUST. We MUST because He MUST. God MUST be God. He MUST keep His Word. He MUST not lie. He MUST fulfill His Word. ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭6‬:‭18‬ (‭NLT‬‬) ”So God has given both his promise and his oath. These two things are unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie. Therefore, we who have fled to him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us.“ God said let there be light and there was light. God MUST speak. He MUST be faithful. He MUST be right. For God so loved the world that he gave. The Father MUST send his son. MUST give his son. He MUST give. The enemy says: God might give. God says: I MUST give. ‭‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭32‬ (‭NLT‬‬) ”Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else?“ On this rock I MUST build my church. And gates of hell will not prevail against it. You MUST prevail. Just as Jesus MUST go to the cross Jesus MUST return. He MUST redeem mankind. God MUST bring justice. God MUST redeem man to himself. When I was 17 years old God called me to go to college. As I turned the decision over to God, He used my MUST to reveal His MUST. I MUST go to college. He MUST provide. I did go to college. He did provide. 1 John 4:19 (NLT) says, “We love because he first loved us.” In the same way we MUST because He MUST. His MUST will always precede your MUST. The more you see and understand this the more you'll respond with your MUST.
