Doch kaum können sie erste Ergebnisse vorweisen, da ereignet sich schon die nächste Tragödie: Eine junge Frau verschwindet und kurz darauf ist auch sie tot.

Kriminalkommissarin Kerrin Iwersen hatte nach ihrem letzten Fall nicht erwartet, so schnell wieder auf ihrer Heimatinsel Föhr ermitteln zu müssen. Doch am Dunsumer Deich wird ein grausam zugerichteter Toter gefunden und Kerrin muss erneut mit dem Inselpolizisten Hark Hansen ermitteln. Der Tote war nach einem Aufenthalt in der Psychiatrie gerade erst auf die Insel zurückgekehrt und hatte versucht, seine zerrüttete Ehe zu retten.

Aus einer Freundesgruppe wird ein junger Mann nach dem anderen erschossen. Der erfahrene Inselpolizist Hark Hansen und die junge Flensburger Kommissarin Kerrin Iwersen werden auf die Fälle angesetzt. Liegt das Motiv für die Morde in der Vergangenheit der Männer?
