Auch wenn ihnen selbst auf der Erde die Hände gebunden sind, haben sie hier starke Anhänger. In diesem Band erwarten unseren Helden heiße Inseln, Piraten, interessante neue Bekannte.

Varg hat bereits mehr als genug Bewährungsproben bestanden, um sich zu Recht als erfahrener Zombie-Überlebender zu betrachten, aber wird das ausreichen? Das Schicksal schläft nicht, genauso wenig wie das System. Wahrscheinlich haben diese beiden launischen Weichensteller sich verbündet. In den neuen Welten warten weitere Prüfungen auf ihn. Wird er dort einen neuen Freund treffen? Oder gar uralte Vampire? Oder erwartet ihn ein mysteriöses Mädchen, dem er in einer Notlage hilft? Vielleicht wird all das und noch viel mehr geschehen. Wer weiß das schon? Das System weiß es, und es lockt Varg mit immer neuen Aufgaben.

Je besser Varg die neue Welt kennenlernt, desto besser gefällt sie ihm, ungeachtet der Gefahren, die an jeder Ecke lauern. Aber was, wenn plötzlich Zwerge auftauchen, diese Welt in Beschlag nehmen und die Menschen als ihre legitimen Opfer betrachten? Der neue Band wartet mit neuen Aufgaben und neuen Welten auf, in die Varg vom System versetzt wird. Zum Beispiel eine Welt, die von Schlangenmonstern bevölkert ist. Oder die Welt der Elfen, in der Varg einen kostbaren Preis erhält. Und dann erscheinen auch noch Nekromanten in unserer Welt.

Manch einer wünscht sich die Chance, das eigene Leben zu verändern, aber man sollte vorsichtig sein, was man sich wünscht. Das System bietet diese Möglichkeit... Schade nur, dass die Überlebenschancen begrenzt sind. Varg hat die Chance auf ein neues Leben erhalten, aber kann er den Widrigkeiten dieses neuen Lebens standhalten?
