Almost all my life, since the age of four, I have lived with Type 1 Diabetes. I know that there are a lot of people with diabetes all over the world. But, in my opinion, there aren’t enough Juvenile Diabetics who have a chance to be heard and yet have so much to say and so many questions still unanswered. For a long ti,e I felt like I had to put my "illness" first in order to succees at, well, anything. With all the love, help and support I received from my family, my true friends, and mentors/coaches I learned a lot about myself and those around me. Even more so, I grew into the Head Strong...
