Retribution is the final chapter of the story of Eddie and policewoman Sam Jacobs, who were responsible for the closure of the drugs cartel run by the Millichip family. It now leads to the desire for retribution by the Drugs cartel. Juan Ramos, a Lima cop, played a key part and now seeks election as a Senator to continue to fight crime in Peru. He also is a target. Danger follows the Jacobs both in Peru and London, leading to a dramatic finale on the Exe Estuary.

Eddie and his wife Sam, a former policewoman, had busted a drug cartel in Peru. The drug baron, Millichip, follows them back to England seeking revenge. Jamie, bullied at school and a recluse, searches for his absent father to take revenge for his miserable life. As Millichip closes in, Eddie's and Sam's lives are in mortal danger, whilst the police close in on Jamie who is running out of options.

Eddie Jacobs lies in the Peruvian Jungle bleeding from a gunshot wound. He has gone to Machu Picchu to find his girlfriend Julia who has disappeared. Sam Jones, an undercover policewoman in the Drug's Squad saves his life. Now both their lives are in danger from a ruthless drug trafficking gang as the plot twists and turns in Peru and back in England as they search for the truth about Julia.
