Often our fire and ambulance companies are overlooked, much to the detriment of their service to the community. We want to give people an idea of what it is like volunteering at, working for, and being served by, a fire department in a rural area. We also want to get as many people involved in volunteering as are willing, whatever your local fire department may be.

Determined to follow in his footsteps, the young gymnast struggled through training setbacks, financial hardships, and personal rivalries, under a cloud of grief, to compete in the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens.
