Yo and his dad are walking their dog, Lips, when they discover that Lips is cold and needs his own coat. Now, Yo wants to make a coat for Lips—but he doesn't know how! The librarian shows Yo how to find non-fiction books about elephants. Yo likes the book about real elephants and is surprised to learn elephants are great swimmers after all! Yo and his parents are visiting a tower for sightseeing. He can’t wait to get to the top—the building looks like it can touch the top of the sky! After riding the elevator to the top, Yo can see the city outside through the windows. What will Yo see once he reaches the top? Will he like being up that high?

Doctors, nurses, and people who work in hospitals use stethoscopes to listen to their patients’ hearts and bodies. It makes sounds loud so the doctor can hear better. Yo visits the beach with his mother who reminds Yo they need to use sunscreen to protect their skin from the sun. Yo wonders why his mother tells him to drink water–then Yo gets very thirsty!
