I left Earth the proud captain of a ship destined to save humanity. I wake in a small examination room being poked and prodded by blue aliens. Escape plans whirl through my head—no one's going to keep me from saving the women of my crew. Then he bursts in, seven-feet of command and power topped with horns. Wrin's the first person to speak English, but he looks just like all the other assholes who've been experimenting on me. When he throws me over his shoulder and runs into the jungle, the heat of his touch makes me wonder if I'm in more trouble.

After the makeover of the century, I walk onstage in too-high heels… and trip in front of thousands of people! I'm saved from becoming a face-plant meme by Brokk, who catches me in a romantic dip that makes my tummy flutter. Which it so totally shouldn't. Because Brokk's not just the hunky model on my book covers. He also lives 24/7 in an orc costume with tusks and green skin. I might write monster romance and wish I had an orc of my own, but monsters aren't real! How can I take this guy seriously?

When I storm out of my ex's engagement party, a meddling goddess whisks me away to Faerie and marries me to a massive grump of an orc. As if that's not enough, I can't leave his side without my teleportation magic throwing me straight back into his arms! I dreamed of leaving my small town and traveling, but I never imagined anything like this. I feel like I landed in one of the books I love, with fated mates and close proximity dialed up to eleven. Wranth's gorgeously muscled body and exciting air of warrior prowess sure don't hurt any either.

All the bigwigs on Earth said I'd have a bright future in space. They obviously knew nothing, 'cause I'm sweating in the bows of an alien pirate ship. The lizards who captured me figured out I've got a way with machines. Thank god, I've concocted one hell of an escape plan. Then he waltzes into the middle of it, seven feet of handsome wrapped in blue skin and horns. Human guys never wanted me, but Tark doesn't even bother to say hello. I get the alien who leaps straight to, "We're married!" Tark looks at me like I hung the moon, and the heat of his touch gets my motor running.

It's an accident, I swear. When I wind up in a fantasy world, I see this gorgeous older guy who's green, and wonder, "What does he look like everywhere?" I don't realize my new magical healing powers will make it happen! No regrets. Sturrm's got muscles for days and one seriously impressive pierced package. The med student in me can't wait to study his monstrous differences up close. The growly grump isn't exactly thrilled about his wardrobe malfunction. But no matter how much he scowls, other parts of him clearly like me a lot.

When I wake in a strange forest, surrounded by "monsters" and "magic," I'm sure it's all some reality-TV prank. My carnival job means I know a lot about all the ways people can be fooled. And the "orc" telling me we're goddess-matched and married has got to be the biggest hoax of all. Branikk's good looks and charming words are way too good to be true. But I keep making ludicrous things appear in ways Hollywood special effects can't match, a unicorn just spoke to me, and when I get an eyeful—a really big eyeful—of Branikk, he's green everywhere.

My days are reduced to playing in an alien jungle with lizard kids who think I'm nothing more than a pet. Then a horned blue alien rescues me, whisking me away on a dragon! Raxnor is seven feet of muscled strength and scowls, but he shields me from every danger. In his arms, I feel safe for the first time.

If someone told me I'd land in a fantasy world and meet my seven-foot husband by flinging myself into his arms so hard we end up horizontal, I'd have laughed it off as a joke. I'm tiny. But it turns out I'm a witch with hidden powers! I can move things with my mind! Instead of being upset I keep crashing into him, the gorgeous orc warrior is thrilled I'm so powerful.

Stuck slinging pizzas in the deadest of dead-end jobs, I make a wish. In a blink, I'm teetering on top of a standing stone in Faerie, where I have magical powers! And monsters fighting over me! Thank god, the orc wins. A fierce and deadly warrior, Rovann's nothing but gentle with me.

Gorgeous blue alien warriors rescued me from cryosleep, but the other women of my expedition weren't so lucky. As head pilot, I need to find the missing human ship and fly everyone to safety. I partner up with a hunk. Sul's boisterous, fun, and fine as hell. With him, I start to enjoy life in a way I've never known.
