This audiobook is narrated by an AI Voice.

In "Life is real only then, when I am" Gurdjieff gives answers to the fundamental human questions: how do I really live and what are the requirements to lead a real life? What is reality? What is existence? Has every man a given I or what must he do to acquire a real I? First of all, we have to accept that we are not awake, but asleep. The vast majority of mankind never awakens through its whole life. Only those are given the chance to become awake, who fight for it with their whole hearts and beings.

G.I. Gurdjieff allows the reader in these narratives to become acquainted with a person that is up to this day to many, who have for instance read his Beelzebub, still an enigma. You will meet a person, who is more often than not, as the esteemed Mulla Nassr Edin would say "into the deepest galoshes that have ever been worn on sweaty feet." In other words, you will meet G.I. Gurdjieff, the human being. The spiritual messages are hidden inside breathtaking adventures and a colorful description of really remarkable men and women and the time before and after the Russian Revolution.

Beelzebub's Tales to His Grandson is the first book of G. I. Gurdjieff's monumental trilogy All and Everything. Conceived as both a cosmological epic and a profound work of inner instruction, the book presents its teachings through an unusual narrative framework that deliberately challenges the reader's habitual modes of perception and understanding. The story is framed as a series of conversations between Beelzebub — a high-ranking cosmic being exiled from the Solar System — and his beloved grandson Hassein.
