Every week, pianist and composer Dan Berry takes a phrase from that week's Torah portion, opens up the Hebrew letters, and plays what's inside — an original piece of music built from the phrase itself. Ancient words, live improvisation, new piece every week. A soundtrack for the week you're actually in.

Dan Berry is the author of the successful book Navigating Diversity in Our Most Segregated Hour, and advises individuals & organizations on how to take first steps toward racial healing. He has pastored for 40 years in Iowa. After pastoring in predominately white spaces for several years he began to realize the need to bring about racial healing in the body of Christ. For the last 30 years he has worked to bridge ethnic and cultural divides, a work that has led him into confronting the churches complicity in upholding systems of racism.
