The editor of the Unnatural Inquirer—the Nightside's most notorious rag—has offered me one million pounds to find a man who claims to have evidence of the Afterlife stored on a DVD. But business has been slow lately, so when Joanna Barrett showed up at my door, reeking of wealth, asking me to find her runaway teenage daughter, I didn't say no.
