An enemy of his kind, he is sold to a dogfighter who pits him against other canines to the death - until a Yukon gold hunter comes to his rescue and provides an opportunity for a new life. As the wolf in White Fang sleeps, kindness and compassion allow him to understand what it means to be in the confidence of man.
