Da er aber etwas abseits von der Heerstraße liegt, so haben vielleicht nur wenige meiner Leser ihm je einen Besuch abgestattet. Um dieser letzteren willen ist es also wohl gerechtfertigt, wenn ich das Städtchen ein wenig beschreibe; und dies ist umso nötiger, als ich in der Hoffnung, die allgemeine Teilnahme dorthin zu lenken, hier einen Bericht der unheilvollen Ereignisse geben will, die sich unlängst dort zutrugen.
