What is the Diamond Light? The “Diamond Light” is what we call the seed of luminous consciousness that resides in each person’s heart center. This term derives from the Tibetan word “Vajra” which means diamond, or “pure radiant diamond light”. Other spiritual traditions refer to it as the Christ Light, the Gayatri Light, the Sacred Heart, the pure light within.

This first-year New Orleans classic is a great choice for banjo players who have mastered the basics of banjo playing. The lesson starts with a full demonstration of the song at two different speeds followed by a step-by-step “by ear” lesson in two- to four-measure sections. Finally, you are given the back-up tracks at two different speeds for you to practice and perform with.

Now you can feel the coolness of playing this awesome song! In this lesson, you will learn both the rhythm and lead guitar parts to this hit TV theme without reading music or tab. A full demonstration of the song is given at the beginning followed by a detailed “by ear” lesson taught in two to four measure sections. At the end of the lesson, three different versions of the backing track are supplied for live performance! This is a level two lesson.
