While Danny Boyle's signature style and the original music composers may be absent, Nia DaCosta brings her own unique flavor and a well-executed, polished approach to the franchise's aesthetic.     I entered with hope but also caution - and to be honest, '28 Years Later: The Bone Temple' is exceptional. It doesn't rely on nostalgia or attempt to shock more than the originals for no reason. It exudes confidence, strangeness, and a true sense of life. And yes, it is bloody - grim, visceral, and savage - but it serves a purpose.     I fully anticipate receiving down-votes solely because of the average rating for a film that seems to sharply split opinions between those who consider it the best in the 28 series and those who dislike the direction of the recent sequels.
