This installment, which delves into cults, religion, and philosophical elements, introduces meaner, weirder, and bolder ideas that keep it feeling fresh. While Danny Boyle's signature style and the original music composers may be absent, Nia DaCosta brings her own unique flavor and a well-executed, polished approach to the franchise's aesthetic.
