Welcome to Fright Night for real? (maybe not)

It is remake time as we dive into very hunky Colin Farrell's portrayal of Jerry Dandridge. the new neighbour with some bite.

There is no denying that this version as a stella cast and some really cool twists to the original film but, does it's reliance on CGI and star power strip away the heart of the story

We tackle this as well as a host of 3 word reviews, voicemails and a game that is to die for!

You guys are in for e real treat today. Not only are we covering a super cool micro budget horror movie but we are also lucky enough to be interviewing the people who made it happen.

CHAT follows a family as they move into a new home. Not long after arriving their son discovers a tablet left by the previous owners and starts talking to an AI chatbot with disastrous effects. (That's all you're getting for now)

We discuss the film and share our thoughts before quizzing writer/director Ole J Hartmann and producer Michael AKU Rodriguez about what it took to deliver high production value horror with a tiny amount of money.

This is a great episode with fabulous guests and we even managed to shoehorn in a game too.

Am I living in a box? am I living in a death trap box??

That's right it is Marc's birthday episode so he chose the movie and one historically I have noting good to say about (this should be fun)

Jokes aside today we are diving into Cube. A film that inspired a whole subgenre of movies like SAW and also took a look a what a project looks like years down the line.

We have a super cool game this week and 3 word reviews, not to mention voicemails and of course our fabulous review!

With Zach Cregger's Resident Evil on everybody's lips we it was no surprise that the 2002 Resident Evil won this week's poll.

So today we give you exactly what you wanted. A deep diving look into the first live action attempt at adapting one of the most successful game franchises in histoy.

We look at if it is a good game adaptation (spoilers it's not) and what we liked and didn't all while sharing movie facts and our opinions.

Late in the show we play a cool game called Evil Resident and get your thoughts in voicemails and 3 word reviews.

As always we would love you to leave us a positive review or get in touch with us through comments and voicemails.

Today we tune up our sexy radio DJ voices and turn the bright lights on to face The Fog of 1980.

In a first time watch for Scott we dive into the potential sequel to Halloween 3 and Halloween 1 & 2 and in Scott's head cannon a far superior Halloween 4.

This is a super fun episode with us at the most relaxed of the year (must be the smooth Jazz) even when The Pirate Hookers interfere with the show we are still on point.

This episode also contains interactive features, voicemails and a cool and very funny game.

This week we are taking a walk through a weird liminal space as we explore the Backrooms.

With Kane Parsons being the youngest director in the history of A24 and working with a micro budge we didn't necessarily expect big things and we were very wrong.

Join us as we dissect what we liked and didn't, share your thoughts in three word reviews and even play a Backrooms themed game.

Let's put a smile on your face!

That's right today the show falls back fully under the listeners control an they have picked a banger!

We discuss Skye Riley's descent into madness as the Smile demon takes her on a wild ride of facing addiction and loss while delivering some scares that will 100% stay with us.

This is a first time watch for Marc so expect some out of pocket commentary on this movie due to his dislike for ambigous horror (that being said he will be fair right?... Right??)

We also have three word reviews and a game called sequel supremacy for you to enjoy.

The Deadites Return!

Deadites are back and that means we need to talk about it.

In this latest instalment we follow Alice and some of her friends in the lead up to and following the death of her abusive husband.

Following the discovery of the Kandarian dagger things take a turn as fire obsessed deadites descend on the home they are staying in.

Both me and Marc have strong feeling about this instalment and the franchise as a whole so strap in for some potentially hot takes.

This episode also features "Three Word Review" and "Smash of Pass, Deadite edition" (childish we know but that is where we are this week)
